So I have been here the last two days and I don't have any good news to report.

Day 1: I tried one of the online massage places to have a girl sent to my room (more on the sites later). The woman that showed up was about 15-20 years older than the girl I requested, so I sent her away. I don't mind if they send the exact girl from the pic, but some effort should be made with regards to age. This lasts for 2-3 minutes (literally, that's not an exaggeration) and then she asks me to roll over. I realize this isn't what I was hoping to get, so I just comply. She tears off my underwear and starts licking me. I just start to get hard and she throws on a condom and hops on me. I can immediately smell her horrible breath and then her horrible juices. Really, her breath smelled like stale cigarettes and he juices smelled like decaying fish. It was just terrible. So I quickly pretend to finish, get up, and go to the bathroom. I then get her out the door ASAP. The time from when she knocked on the door to when she left was 21 minutes. Had been to Tianjin recently. Stayed at Society Hill.

Got service for 100 RMB thrice! Search for Wumart on DFL near by (2 km or so). DFL is full of in-call places where 100 RMB is enough for FS.

Flipside- you get what you pay for, both in terms of the selection and the hygiene of the place.

Tanggu has been notorious for its bath houses for years. There were always more, at lower cost, compared to Teda. Over the years I've visited a few and always had good experiences, but it's been awhile. I've only been once since the nationwide crackdown in early 2014, and I had to convince the massuese that I wasn't with the press in order to get service. After we got that out of the way, though, everything went smoothly.

Happy to share a few places via PM. I'd suggest you simply go and get a simple chinese-style massage to get a feel for a place. It's unlikely, given the current environment, that you'll be offered extras initially unless you go with a regular. Still, if you enjoy massage, it's cheap and relaxing. Once they're comfortable with you they're more likely to offer extras.

Note that these places allow you to take your phone into the room, so you can use a translation app to chat with the masseuse (and they can be a font of knowledge).
