Does anyone know anything about a place called Wuqing? I'm considering moving there and I'm wondering if there's any action to be found in the area. Is it near TEDA? I guess in a worst case senario I can get to Beijing or Tianjin pretty quickly.

Yes I agree the Tianjin scene is less active these days. Beijing is a total ***** house. There are plenty of KTV like Marco Polo KTV which employ many girls that will go home with you for about 800RMB for he night. There are many saunas and bath houses in Tianjin that all will cater to your needs. Though 400RMB for full service is not accurate as stated above, at least for us foreigners anyways. Also if you check in JIN magazine. it is an English magazine tht you can find in most western restaurants or hotels. There are 1 or 2 message ads that cater to outcall service for about 800RMB. Hope this helps.

Well a new day and my early day is delayed 24 hrs, so I decide to head off to my favorite sauna for a relaxing day of fun. Shower, soak, off to the couch room, relax. What no fruit today, oh well. I first started going to Tianjin 9 years ago. For the first 3 years or so it was an amazing place for quality cheap Chinese pussy.

Many, many small bars everywhere - the old Feli Bar, the bar under the bridge beside Hyatt, Isabellas, the old Rainbow Bar, Helens Place - Sgt Peppers - damn there were bars and available girls everywhere.

On the street where old Rainbow was there were several small bars. But in those days large numbers of expats working in Tianjin - but with winding down of Motorola etc things changed.

Then Boomerang Bar opened - Rainbow Bar moved to location opposite Sheraton - Broadway Cafe, Cisi Cafe - god there were still so many locations.

Then like overnight - wham - it just seemed to change. I know this is an exaggeration - but Tianjin is NOTHING like it used to be.

Yes they have a bar street area nowadays - but mostly designed for Chinese - Rainbow Bar contines as does Feli Bar - Broadies Csafe etc - bar under Olympic Tower - cannt remember name - but still nothing like it was.

There are the Scarletts, Babi etc which play deafening techno shit - but the Chinese darlings in those places - gorgeous - you can get lucky here if you prepared to invest the time and can tolerate the noise.

But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - give me a bar like Sgt Peppers in old days, Broadway or Cosi at their peak, Boomerang Bar in the early days, Rainbow Bar when they let the girls in - you just sat at the bar and they swarmed to you - not now - it is seriously hard work in Tianjin if you are not a Sauna / BBS type guy.

And I want to correct myself, the place closed is only the one second avenue, the one behind TESCO I was visiting the wrong place (as it is not behind Tesco at all). In general they clearly try to clean up but fun is still to be had, hope that is not how it soon will be everywhere.

Thanks for the overwhelming response to my request.

As I had feared TEDA is pretty dead for the normal visitor. The sauna places described here before are closed or turned legitimate. I found two bath places targeted at locals that still offer the whole range, found a real gem service wise, Thai style sloppy BJ and GFE after visit 2. Nice face, body rather soso. Prices unbeatable even at BBS standards and these are full saunas. 2 girls at what you pay in BJ in some BBS for a HJ.
