Nah, in the new territories like Yuen Long or even Shatin 10.000 HK$ can get you a decent 1 BR flat. Add 50% and you can get a decent 1 BR almost everywhere.

I hear that Skitz has changed its focus and re-opened on Sunday. Its on the 5th floor in the same building as Forest / Joe Bananas. It's supposed to be a club / disco. Maybe it is taking the place of Traffic. It's a small place. So unsure how it will go. But they need to make it attractive for the ladies.

Bit of history.

Skitz used to be located above The Firehouse and opened in the early 2000's . It was a large place. With one part as a sports bar and the other part was a club / disco / live music. From memory the band played reggae type music. It moved to its current location about two years ago, and was set up as a sports bar with pool tables and dart boards.

As far as the Indonesian helpers go, the real bad guys are those agencies illegally taking about 6 months salary (withholding passports until paid up - again illegal) and the corrupt Indonesian embassy for protecting them by requiring to involve an agency. Go into NM any night and you will probably 5 or 6 D / H who are waiting to start a new job or have lost their jobs. The D / H have 2 to 4 weeks to find work or have to leave HK. And they stay in boarding houses with 6 girls to a room, so staying in a nice bed is good.

You do get a few in the bars of 5 star hotels. They are usually discreet and most often local ladies. And they usually charge extra because you are in a business bar.

You may have to hit the bars in wanchai or escort agencies or try independent escorts.
