Lived in HK for 10 years, now in Singapore. Can someone advise how Wanchai bar scene is now days, given the protests? What about Sunday DH scene?

It is on a gradual decline and has nothing to do wit protest. Lack of quality and high prices. Most in need DH normally found on Sundays are now getting dates using wechat or whatsapp. I prefer the walk ups and the market street Thai these days.

Well, at least that's something useful which members might be able to advise on, but I'd think a backpacker's website could be better for this with regard to hostels than here as most punters here stay in hotels. And anyway when HK has hundreds of thousands of hotels, and you have not shared even your budget, nobody can advise you on which hotel to stay in.

Thanks, I'm sure she does as she looks great, it was just that I'd have expected some discount from all-night versus a few hours, eg HKD1500 all-night and HKD1000 for two hours. I realize that HKD1000 isn't a lot for a pro or even a pro-am but there are many times I don't want an all-nighter, am happy just to see the girl in the evening and then go her way while I settle to sleep by myself.
