Seems like a pretty flimsy argument to me. Doesn't say anything about the quality of the girls. As Rick Hunter implied, only the desperate ones would be willing to conduct any kind of business because of the reputation of the sailors..which brings us to the next sentence:

It seems a sailor would think themselves being better than anyone because of their fighting, drinking and screwing prowess. You should be proud of the honour you're bestowing upon all navymen and their traditions with comments such as this. This type of comment is truly indicative of any sailor who has 'earned his salt,' who, according to the description, basically describes them as drunk, belligerent fuckers. I hope my kids join the navy someday.

HK Dog and I do not usually agree but on this point we do. Most of the regular good working girls don't like when the Navy is in town. We have both been around long enough that we can speak with some authority on this.
When the Navy rolls in it is also the time when I get the most text messages from ladies if they can hang out with me for the night so they do not need to go to Wan Chai. If the Navy provided such great earnings they would not be doing that.
There are some people who love seeing the Navy come to town. The discos love it as they can get away with charging way too much for cover (which expats never pay - even when the Navy is in town). The rip-off girlie bars like it as well as they need suckers to service them but if you read this forum you will notice the low impression that most people have of those places. The really ugly ladies are desparate for people pent up on a boat with Yellow Fever love it as it is the only time they can make a buck. Many domestic helpers love it as they hope they can find a nice American to take them out their current menial job. The regular nice working however do not like it, nor do most of the expats who visit Wan Chai (and tend to be rather highly compensated). Think about it if you are operating a business (these girls are in business for themselves) and there are events that drive your regular customers away how happy would you be.
You would not even believe the number of stories I have heard from ladies that went with navy lad and did not get paid (the smart ones threaten to go to those yellow shirted Navy police) or get slapped around a bit.
Well that's enough for me. Time to leave the office and head to LKF.

As far as testing the waters is concerned - OK I can see why you would want to experience a couple P4P experiences - but don't get too used to it as then you will be 1. Secondly, I disagee that "the navy lads usually have little money". One of the popular girls at one of the girlie bars told me today that, in the first two days of the fleet being in town this week, she has done 12 blow jobs in the vip section of the club and gone on 7 escorts. All with navy guys. (And a mate who owns a regular bar on Lockhart road tells me that his takings are extremely good this week - even with the special prices he is charging the fleet.)

As much as I respect the Navy for the sacrafice they make for their country, don't spread bullcrap in this forum.
As an expat in HK, I can tell you for a fact that the hideous of the hideous come out to earn a buck when the Navy is in town. How can you possibly argue against this this you don't know what its like when the Navy is not in town?
Often the top girls 'take a rest' when the Navy is around or else hang out in LKF.
As far as the drinking and the fighting, I'll let you be proud of being the 'winner' in that category.

Why I love Hong Kong & a couple warnings
This has to be the only city where the regular working girls are investing in stocks. A couple stories from the past week:
1) Last Friday night I commuted up to the middle of no where Kowloon to meet the lady who is the best lay I have ever experienced. She is a little older than I normally go for but she is fantastic in her skills. I met her over two years ago and have followed her around as she constantly changes saunas. As it was near the end of Chinese New Year I figured I should go up to the new place she just started at to give her some lai see (she is a regular of mine) and have a great screw. I was a little skeptical of the ambience of the sauna given the economic status of the neighborhood but was surprised to find that it was a reasonably high class sauna and the staff were pretty good with English - even changed one of the big TVs into the place to the BBC for me with out my asking. With her I usually don’t spend much of the 90 minutes getting a massage as we usually fuck through most of the time. We started off with a nice anal session, her choice not mine as I do not usually go for that, followed by a short massage and then another regular session. She is a nympho and great in the sack as an aside she tried to convince me for a year to buy her a vibrator before I relented. What made this a little different than normal is after the collapse in the stock market last week we spent the first few minutes discussing stocks and investment strategies and she was wondering what to do with her portfolio.

I had to disappoint her and tell she was more financially sophisticated than I because I don’t trade currencies as I think the commissions are too high. After that into the shower for CIM and then onto the bed for a catbath and a regular screwing session.
Very different from the 20 year old Filipino I was playing around with on Monday (I guess in the past week I have been rather horny). Her biggest concern was making enough money to pay her agent back and send some money home to her mom and dad.
Now the two warnings:
1) The USS Ronald Regan docked on Wednesday so Wan Chai will be crawling with young American Navy brats for the next few days so likely not so pleasant to hang out in. Most of the working girls, except the ugly ones desperate for business, do not like it when the navy rolls in as many HK business men stay away and the navy lads usually have little money, do not want to spend it and do not behave very well. However more domestic helpers seem to find their way to Wan Chai to try and meet a young American.
2) The reason why I did not say where I was yesterday is I did not want to get the girl in trouble but I want to provide some advice. Evidently some guy is going around town trying to recruit girls to go to Canada or the USA with him where they can do the same job but make up to US$1,000 per day as each time they turn a trick they will make US$200 and he will take 15%. While the lady I was with was smart enough to realize working girls do not make US$350,000 per year she was interested if I knew how they compare to HK. I told her while I do not know the US or Canadian market that most ladies from Asia who end up there tend to be abused and taken advantage of. Supposedly this guy normally recruits in China, Thailand and Taiwan and is trying his hand in Hong Kong. Regardless of what I think of this if you are the person doing this you might want to reconsider your strategy of going into places with triad connections and leaving your contact details with the girls you are trying to poach from them. Likely not the smartest thing to do because you do not know who the girls will talk to. Given the establishment that was visited and which girls seem to have been approached I am assuming that this person reads the board. Something like going to Wan Chai and asking freelancers is likely a safer strategy.

Guys,
Just a word of warning. Not that you shouldn't do it but be very careful about sending a provider away after booking. These businesses are all backed by triads. They do not want to make trouble but they also will not tolerate any BS. My policy over many years has always been to avoid conflict wherever, whenever possible.

No offence taken. I do agree with you. If I could hook up with a local HK girl and have a meaningful relationship I would but, given the time I have left in HK and the a bad experience with a local girl early on during my stay here, that prospect doesn't seem like its gonna happen. The thing about my age and that Im not in the workforce yet, coupled with the fact that I'll be leaving for home soon (in 3 months) doesn't really make the girls want to beat each other off with sticks to hook up with me. I feel that right now, I'm just testing the waters in Hong Kong. After I start working, I do plan to base myself in here or somewhere in China which is the purpose of my year Hong Kong. When that time comes, Ill come back and drop a line on this forum and upgrade my account. Anyways, stay safe everyone.

Hi all, newcomer here. What a great site! I've been reading the posts for I don't know how long and have learned a lot so I thought I'd try to be useful too.
The question I want to address is Kopkid's query about turning down 141 hotel reservation girls and any cancellation fees involved. It seems maybe Idler31 and I have had differing experiences but the hotel girls I've visited conduct their business in the room they actually live in, usually along with another girl. If you want them to turn up at a hotel you are staying in you have to pay more, probably a taxi fare like Idler31 mentioned but can't say for sure, never tried. However, a straight booking through the telephone number advertised will get the papa or mamasan telling you to turn up at a specific hotel, which is also the reason why you just pay for the girl and not the room.
This does not happen often as far as I know, but sometimes the girl advertised is a completely different person, photoshop be damned. If that's the case and you're not happy with what you see you can just leave. No cancellation fee and more important, no need to be scared of any muscle the papasan might hire to punish you because they won't, provided you don't provoke them unnecessarily. Just call and tell them the reason why you're cancelling but, obviously, without being a dick about it. Who knows, if you're nice about the fact that they tried to gyp you maybe they might be nicer to you in the future...but probably not
It is also in my experience along with all of my mongering friends that you have to expect a certain amount of deduction in the looks department as compared to the photos advertised. All the girls are photoshopped to some degree, some more than others, but photoshopped nonetheless. Maybe 2 times out of ten you might get a different girl altogether but you usually get the one you ask for but again, they are likely not to be as goodlooking as what is advertised. And plus I think most of us would be aware of how much photoshop was used in the pictures if we look at them carefully.
I have never had this happen to me, but some of my friends had told me that if the girl is the actual girl you were looking for but turns out she is a little too far below your expectations you can cancel. Just like that. According to a friend who has had this happen to him, he did cancel after seeing the girl but it wasn't so easy because hey, he didn't want to hurt her feelings. It wasn't her fault the papasan provided bad information. She apparently tried real hard to get him to stay so that was the only awkward hard part he had to go through.
I hope this information was as useful as how I found this forum to be
