Yep still, in fact they are like 10% of the working people in HK, they are so many everywhere, and they also are the most vaccinated people.

So yeah on Sunday they are all out to see each other and eat.

On Sunday the spark and players 2 are very nice. And more and more full of girls. It still not like before but it's the only thing that remains.

141 walks up and "spas" still are operating. But press reports are that the influx of mainland operatives has been curtailed. A combination of border restrictions and raids.

Many potential clients are playing it safe and staying home.

First time I post on Hongkong thread but I already post some on BKK and Pattaya.

I live in Hong Kong since two years and half so I did not experienced the golden age of this red quarter but can still give you info on the situation.

So basically here is a quick look.

All the scam red curtain with mama-san are closed, Club Venus and King dragon are dead, there is only one with two girls in it and no client.

Neptune, escape are dead at the second wave of corona, players moved instead of Hong Kong caf.

I can't really tell for bars like mysties, queen Victoria and bar 109 because I never go there, but it's not real place for monger (except if you have some old Irish fetish).

The place to be is definitely Taboo and Joe banana. Taboo is really for getting pro women's even if the roaster of girl is less you can still can find some nice girls, but they start to know all the client.

During the week I would say 1) taboo 2) Joe banana 3) Amazonia 4) Carnegies 5) players 6) Spark. But many chance that on a Tuesday girls are only at taboo. Don't even try Makati it's not worth going up the stairs, waste of energy.

On Sunday it's quite different, helpers are out and even if Taboo is the more crowded, Spark and Players are full of helpers, clearly if you look for not PRO FL only go on Sunday in the afternoon. Spark is very nice I go often there just to drink beers and have some fun. Carnegies is also nice, women dance on the bar.

There unfortunately not much news, no new girls so if you want some new plan you will have to check on apps. For me badoo is not working at all, tinder and tantan have pretty results.

HK has adopted an elimination strategy for COVID which has worked well. You can't complain because there has never been a LOCKDOWN in HK, though of course there have been various level of restrictions. The biggest frustration is that Macau refuses to open the border even though there are no COVID cases in HK.

I believe people from the Mainland can go to Macau with no problems. So strange.

Many thanks for the update. Hope it is not only drink the women are thirsty for. The whole place must be struggling due to the drop in visitors / tourists / businessmen.

I should have said February 2020 in my last report, not 2021, so it looks like 2 years before my next visit.

Replaced by Fenwick 17, a sports bar. You can check out their FB page for details. I don't hit Wanchai much these days so can't expand further.

Not been to HK since February 2021 when I had to make a hasty retreat in case flights got cancelled at short notice. Need to get back for a variety of reasons but have not heard anything recently about the current scene. The only places open seem to be Taboo, Amazonia and perhaps Escape. I understand HK cafe and Neptune 111 have closed. Insiders, New Makati etc must be struggling. Anyone there can give an update on what is happening? If HK does not re-open until June 2022 that's bad news!
