I visit China quite often for business and usually try to stop into HK for the weekends for some fun. You are right there.

Which are more expensive than services in richer western countries. The reason is in Asia, English-speaking hookers are more expensive. A teacher who can teach Maths in English is more well-paid than teaching maths in Chinese only. You are paying for the ladies' better English level.

Macau is also expensive, but the Mainland Chinese professionals there almost speak no english. And there are extremely little local Macau girls in the industry. Macau is a rich place the locals do not need to do it.
