But it's not a long-term sustainable model. The aim of drink money is to get meal money for the next week. And if one goes to a bar every three months then you are a new, pretty face who may get lucky.

Pretty well a disastrous night on Friday.

Work kept me late so it was after 12 when I strolled down the road. HK Café not very busy so about turned at the bottom of the stairs. Bumped into two friends and promised I would meet them in the Sports Bar a bit later. I lied. Taboo busy with plenty LE standing on the corner. I learned later there had been a fight in there the previous night.

Went into the Spin Bar next to the HK Café. It's a small place but the Mamasan, Lucy, is an old friend from way back in the Galaxy days. She has a new visitor just arrived who she thinks I will like. Fast forward to meet Bella. Nice looking girl, nice eyes, fresh complexion, white teeth – Whats not to like? Carrying a couple of extra pounds but I am the last to talk about that. Agrees she would like to look at my hotel room and $1500 is agreed (down from $2000). Walks to the hotel, things looking good. Immediately strips off and wants us both in the shower so she has been round the blocks a few times. No problem so far. I have not been cleaned up more thoroughly in a long time. Just about to get to bed and she asks for the money. That's always a no-no for me and she eventually accepts she is not getting paid in advance. First alarm bell. Getting down to business, she asks for condom. Too early I reply. Then says that she is restricted to being away just an hour from the bar. 2nd alarm bell. Wants to give me a BJ right away and starts but I prefer a bit of "play" before hand. Does not kiss. Another alarm bell despite an agreement in the bar about kissing. Starts to explore her – she does not like that she says. Another and last alarm bell. I tell her to get dressed, we are going back to Wan Chai. Her tears well up and it takes a few minutes for it to sink in that I'm finished. At one point I thought about hotel security in case she made a scene.

I actually walk her back to the Spin Bar, decide not to go in and see Lucy – that can wait to later. No cash asked for or given.

Stay in on Saturday night. Too busy with work to catch up and it's raining.

Had a drink at Escape last night with my Indonesian friend. It was a crowded venue while the gents were crazy. Gents continually wanted to buy me drinks. Gave a few to my friend and she ended up with around $800 in commissions. She thinks, I am a good luck charm and asked me to regularly attend Escape. Once in a while is enough.

Have to confess I dabbled in DIA last year following on successful reports I read in the forums. One in particular interested me although the others were all very nice. Never a day passed when we did not talk on skype. I met her a couple of times last November, managed to get her back to my hotel under some pretext or other, but sex was out the question. I bet you're glad you were patient for as long as you were! I often give these ones a bit of short shrift but of course it depends on the lady, some of them are genuinely interesting and there's enough attraction and connection to make it worthwhile to play the slightly longer game. There are plenty of leads to be found once you read back through this wonderful resource. Two types of places that spring to mind, and which you can look out for as you read back through the posts here, are:

1. Walk-ups: floors and floors of ladies of all nationality and disposition. Never done this before but Fuji Building is mentioned here a lot, also '141' and '161' directories, but even wandering around Mongkok and Yau Ma Tei you'll find stairs leading off a busy road and on the wall next to them a list of pricing which indicates $ for MLC and $$ for more 'exotic' Asians and $$$ for Eastern Europeans.

2. Classic 'spa' joints like K-Pressure and 37 Dundas, private rooms with showers.

Good question. Maybe both within reach? The girl had her hands past the zipper several times so his garter snake passed inspection and assumed acceptable. He had his hand checking out between the frog leg pose and likewise assumed acceptable. Several filipina have in the past suggest I join them there at Laguna. I was unfortunately busy or the lady backed out when I accepted. When they stare back at me or are more direct than I, my spidey senses go off and I retreat! LOL! It is pretty funny because the several times I did follow through with the gals, it turns out they were just horny and looking for a good poking.

Was going to have a quiet night on Wednesday as the dreaded work kept me late and I'm still recovering from the escapades over the weekend. Old age does not come easy.

Thanks for the reply, makes sense. I suspect some of those 'drinks only' girls are fishing for "boyfriends" too. Can work out more lucrative for them in the long run if they play their cards right (as I found out the hard way).

I have met several girls over the years who admitted to drinks only. Could be, of course, they would have a drink with you but simply did not want to have sex with you. Much the same as when you get approached in a bar but don't fancy the girl even if the price is right.
