Well as many of us know WebConexxion is dead wrong. I am always amazed how sometimes people give very strong opinions when they don't know what they are talking about. I went out to BBOSS in Tsim Sha Tsui, 14 Science Museum Rd last night. The place was reaally big and claims to be able to hold 3000 people. My friends and I where the only customers.

To sit down for the minimum drink charge is HK$520 when there is a show. Which I guess is to be always. Even if it just a guy singing on the stage. When they brought our drinks they also brought peanuts and fruit. I found out later if you eat them. They charge you. Just so you know.

The Mamason will bring out the girls and they where all pretty good looking. Tall and good looking. They are not working as maids that is for sure. They all seemed to have basic English skills.

I think some of the people here are being a little hard on the domestic helpers. First off there are somewhere between 200,000 and 250,000 helpers living in Hong Kong. Very few of them are pretty but even if 1-5% are that it is 2,000-12,500 who are decent.

There are very few Thai domestic helpers left in Hong Kong. In the past few years the number of domestic helpers from Indonesia has overtaken the number of domestic helpers here from the Philippines. In addition over 80% of new domestic helpers come from Indonesia meaning that most of those from the Philippines have been here for a while thus they are older and may not be so good looking anymore. You don't see too many 20-23 year old philippinos any more in Hong Kong. (And I think most of the better looking and educated ones either make more money as a caregiver/nurse in the West, make US$1,000 working in a factory in Korea or can do just as well at home as they can being a slave here). Indonesians are happy to be here as it beats making HK$800 in Malaysia, HK$1,500 in Singapore. The HK$3,400 they make here is far better than they could do pretty much anywhere else plus given the reasonable closeness of the languages most can speak Cantonese.

One change that I have noticed in the past year or so is alot more helpers when they are in Laguana/Makahti on Sundays are looking for cash, even if they want a bf/gf type relationship they want their income supplimented. Of course there are still many that just want to have fun. I picked one up last Sunday - thought it was a little easier than normal but figured she must be horny. We went and had a great session and then at the end she came right out and said she wanted money for what we had done. I was a little surprised as I have never had someone ask for payment without making it clear before hand that she wanted cash. I think they must have tightened up on the visas and cracked down on DH who could live outside from their employer. Also Chinese girls are now a rarity.

I don't live in HK anymore so when I visit I can't always get the best deal from a known friendly provider. Still it is amazing how many times I recognise a girl from a year or two ago.

The Pinnays used to get multiple entry visas to China. So they could stay longer and just go to China for a week or two. Now they only get single entry visas to China which makes frewuent travel way more difficult. Furthermore the business is down in Wan Chai and many moved on to Shanghai where the return shall be better as I heard.

I am convinced that a majority of the Indonesian and Filipino Domestic Helpers hang out here on Sunday. Around 4:00-5:00 the place was packed with girls and men. I don't know of anywhere in Wanchai that is busy at that time of night. Neptunes does not get going till later. I would say crowd starts to come in about 10. But better later than that for best choice.

Having said that I have been to Neptune 9-9:30 and picked up a early bird and due to the early hour only payed $400-500. This gives them plenty of time to get back for prime time. Mostly these are girls I knew so could negotiate the price without too much fuss. If you are a new comer they might hold out for more or just want drinks.

If you want after works drinks go to Lan Kwai Fong, there will be a few bars with people there. Don't think you will find many pro's though.

A few girls I have been with went to some of the better class hotel bars early on, such as the Oriental. They ask a high price there and if they can't snag someone then go to Wan Chai and lower their price to meet the market.

If you don't mind paying then that might be an option.
