Yes I should contact costumer care or should go directly to branch office. Mine is a international (global) mastercard debit card. I checked online international transactions is enabled but still my card getting declined in ISG. When I searched through ISG, read some posts been put where members successfully used their debit cards of different banks.

The transaction that ISG forum is allowing to activate our subscription is through international transaction only, transactions through domestic debit cards are declined.

We can't get through purchase for subscription, because SBI master card issued to us by the bank is intended for domestic use only (with in India), we need to upgrade that card to international use also.

I think no extra charges will be processed by the bank for upgrading our debit card for international use also, usually activation will be taken with in two working days I am not aware of the process for SBI bank.

You can call the customer service number and get it activated. There is also an option online, I am not aware of the process how to activate the SBI debit card online.

Please try axis bank debit card, I have a axis Mastercard which was given after A / C opening in axis bank, by default we can use it only for domestic transactions, if you want to use for international transactions, you need to login to axis internet banking, clink on debit card services link and select replace / upgrade card, then you get the option of selecting debit card for international use, once you select it your card will be activated for international transactions, no extra charges from the bank for debit card upgrade, the activation for international use will happen with in one day, it will work.

I was busy the whole day trying to buy a subscription.

I have SBI VISA International card (VISA Global), enabled for International usage from onlinesbi (dot) com:- this did not work.

I have another VISA Internation Debit Card (Platinium) from Bandhan Bank: this too, did not work.

I tried registering at gtbill (dot) com (the payment gateway for ISG), thinking that I may be able to load the wallet with my Debit card, I can register easily but they don't send activation codes (I tried with gmail and Yahoo) and without activation code you can't do anything.

Next, I tried with VCC: Searched the internet, Quora..

I was busy the whole day trying to buy a subscription.

I have SBI VISA International card (VISA Global), enabled for International usage from onlinesbi (dot) com:- this did not work.

I tried registering at gtbill (dot) com (the payment gateway for ISG), thinking that I may be able to load the wallet with my Debit card, I can register easily but they don't send activation codes (I tried with gmail and Yahoo) and without activation code you can't do anything.

Next, I tried with VCC: Searched the internet, Quora.

I tried ICICI Pocket, Filled with Rs 2000 and tried the VCC, it was not working. I contacted the support, they told that Its only for Domestic.

Anyone tried to buy subscription with ICICI Expressions Gift card?

Tried Oxigen wallet it didn't work either.

Freecharge, Digipurse. All not working. Around Rs 4000 is stuck now in these accounts.

Someone please tell me what is working. And better still if any of my fellow members can help me get the subscription by paying for me, I am ready to payback in double by Paytm, Google pay, bank transfer.

Hello brother,

Although your debit card has international transaction enabled, but it's payment gateway is via Rupay, which in not international payment network. It has to be either Visa or MasterCard payment gateway, which are the dominant payment gateways. So try to change it to Visa or MasterCard and then it will work hopefully. Rupay is not international gateway as of now.

It does not work with my SBI visa card. ITS international debit card.

Although your debit card has international transaction enabled, but it's payment gateway is via Rupay, which in not international payment network. Approach the back branch and ask them to enable international transactions on it.

ICICI, Axix, HDFC may work. Entropay has stopped their services for India.
