I am sure, the members here have already read the allegations that spa business in Delhi NCR is running under political protection. We were under the impression that it's simply the LE, which gets paid, but it seems, politicians are also benefitting. So far, I only saw in Hollywood movies that mafia benefitted from prostitution, but, our own Delhi NCR has fallen into the same dangerous relationship.

I think it's win win situation for everyone. Huhhhh. Where did you grew up? Netherlands? You cannot sell even Golgappa or Bhutta in India without bribing the Cops, a big part of which goes higher up in the LE departments and still higher to the ruling Government and it's party funds.

Now coming back to P2P, have conversations with any decent WG and she will tell that they are usually presented to high ranking bLE officials and politicians (and the reason good WG disappear during Horse Trading season). So thank that even LE and politicians have the libido, reason this service is available for us, because for a 100% honest Govt, stopping such illegal but well organized racket is difficult to almost completely shutdown.

Bro but for your kind information, Prostitution is NOT illegal in India. It is LEGAL. The restrictions is on pimping and on carrying out prostitution from a public place. When prostitution itself is legal, I see no reason for the recent crackdown, except majoritarian impulses rooted in deep traditional belief's which in the words of the Supreme Court of India CANNOT override individual decisional autonomy.

I don't see a problem with that crackdown except that it has hurt us mongers in the nuts. SPism under the name of Spa is incorrect. What'd be the feeling if services were being offered under the banner of a university or a religious place. Would we care? So yea let's keep the moral high ground BS (ours or theirs) aside and deal with the issue logically gentlemen.

The DCW Chairperson, Swati Maliwal is serious. She has said that Delhi won't be allowed to become Bangkok. Spa business is now in serious trouble. Since Delhi Assembly elections are almost 6 months away, and since the crackdown continues and there is big media coverage, spa activities are now under the scanner.
