Sound advice for UK, but a few caveats. You need to register to see posts on ukpunting, but the admin restricts access to some international IP's, including India. I am based in the UK, but ever since coming to India for a few months I can't access the site. VPN's don't work either in my experience. You will need to register once in the UK, but that might not leave time for research.
