When I was in Bali about a month ago, I ending up meeting with an fishbowl girl and restaurant girl during the day. I usually do not like walking around with them in case they meet someone they know or I know. But I was able to have a great time in the privacy of a room. Out of the sunlight, I can still pretend to be a young strapping college kid on summer vacation. Not my Dorian Gray portrait in the closet.

There are professional women backpacking through. Some have a nest egg and some are just taking a long vacation. So you can get lucky. Many have married local guys in some locations. Bali is one place I have heard of some. I suspect that is what you are asking.

1) The documentary is called Cowboys In Paradise.

2) Why look for rocks? For variety and novelty. And for the fact that western ladies can be more enjoyable in sex, at least for me. But in general, I don't see what's wrong with that.

3) What 'baggage' problems are you referring to? It will only be a date or a one-night stand, I don't see a potential for baggage here.

I've read that most of the reports in this forum discuss how to target and date Asian ladies. But what about the western, European ladies?

I've noticed tons of European 'backpackers' who are spending weeks, if not months in Bali, wandering around the scenic nature and enjoying the stress-free environment.

Had a few days in Bali (first time) and loved it. Limited options. Couldn't take a girl back to hotel room as travelling with my sister! Hence either attendance at massage parlour for HJ or more or visit to Riverview or Onasis. Latter was too far from my hotel which was in Seminyak. Saw little or no action on streets other than being propositioned by two girls working at a "spa" who offered BBBJ and HJ for 100 KIR (incredibly cheap) but didn't like the look of either or their facility. Had no other real idea on how to get a session but from reading the forum and learning that Riverview was still open decided to try it. First visit I turned up at 10.45 pm only to be told that it was closing soon and I was too late? Wow! Walked across the road to a bar called Extraplatt. Nice bar / restaurant and the girls working there were very hot. One in particular caught the eye and I asked her if I could take her for a drink when they closed. She agreed. Went to some place called The Red Carpet in middle of Seminyak. Great music, great vibe, and clearly WGs in there. Explained I couldn't take her back to my hotel and the reason and she said we couldn't go to hers as she lived with her family. Ended up rushing an hour with her at her friends apartment. Not great. No aircon (and it was humid) but a decent session. No money had been mentioned or requested and I was beginning to wonder if I should mention it for fear of upsetting her if she was not a WG at all. As we were leaving she asked if I wanted to meet her again but made it clear that it was no problem if not as she did not expect anything from me. I suggested dinner on my last night which she agreed to.

Following night, got to Riverview 9 pm. Met inside by the owner (I think) who went through the prices. No option for 1 hour only. Minimum was 90 minutes with one girl for 1. 5 million IR or 2 girls for 2 million. I said I'd like to see the LU. 9 girls were brought out and lined up. Said Hi to each. Of the 9, 3 were 7's, one with a body worth 8, 4 were 5/6's and 2 were below 5's. Not great but selected a girl called RiRi. Slim, fairly tall, - the one with the 8 body. Natural see cups it turned out. After 5 minutes in the room she asks if I like 2 girls and I said yes but I hadn't been too keen on any of the others. She asks if I'd like to see her friend who was not in the line. How odd I thought. Why not? I say yes and she returns with a girl whose name I believe was Devi. Pretty. Little bit curvy but I'd have selected her out of the line first. I agree to the threesome only to be told to cough up another 1. 2 million. Didn't get it. Complained I'd been told 2 million but was told that was for the girls in the line. Obvious scam but it didn't matter as I wasn't going to ruin this chance over not that much money.

Had a terrific 90 minutes with these two girls. Lots of DFK with both, CBJ and several positions with both of them. Left shattered, happy. Room was large and clean and free beers when requested. I'd recommend it. Not that cheap but clearly a good place, well run and safe. Had a great final night with the young lady from Extraplatt. Took her to a fabulous restaurant called Metis. Expensive but a nice treat for us both and another great night. Will return to Bali.

Yes, there are many and they are available. Also Asian travellers. I had success with some of the fellow guests but there is a lot of potential baggage and problems that come with it.

As in some places along the Mediterranean, there are plenty of local "spears" cruising around. I think there was an Aussie documentary about it called Bali Cowboy. You can see young studs hanging around the girls, both young and old. But I prefer what is on offer by the indigenous population.

Yes, there are many and they are available. Also Asian travellers. I had success with some of the fellow guests but there is a lot of potential baggage and problems that come with it.

I don't know! If I wanted to sleep with western backpackers I would venture to Coogee and Bondi in Sydney. I haven't had sex with a western woman for 16 years and I have no desire to in the foreseeable future. I know a lot of younger Aussies will go to Bali for European backpackers but I can't see the point.

I am travelling to Bali from Jan 20th 24th and staying in Mercure, Sanur. This is my fourth visit and I usually stayed in Legian street. I wish to explore Fish bowls in Saur following Baris map. Expecting a helping hand from senior members to recommend few active fishbowls near Mercure. Of course I will share my experience in the forum.

I think the map is from an ISG member Barri. Just take a look. It is all there. Google is your friend. You can also follow his directions and update any missing or incorrect information. Or post the correct information and maybe some helpful reader will update the map.

Each time I have been there I have had great service but I want to visit other fishbowls. I know there are many in the area but cannot find them. I've tried reading the map found on here but it's not that clear for me. Can anyone clearly direct me to at least another really good one please. I don't want to ask a taxi driver as I ride around on a scooter.

I think you mean the Bali monger map. It is still a great source and most things do not move much. Even if they do, you have a starting point on what to ask for by name. As for the the fish bowls in Sanur, they are on the map. If you have a bike you can ride around and find most of them. There are house numbers and some are easier because of landmarks.

If you don't want to ask a taxi, ask a bemo driver or one of the shop keepers. Bemo will most likely not charge but they will get a kickback from the establishment, to which you will pay a little more, maybe. So do it once and think of the time it will save and the future opportunities. Enjoy the fishing.

You know there are various versions of the Bali Monger Map out there, complete with addresses. For grins, I looked up the addresses on Google Maps, got down to "Street View" and found they were pretty obvious, thanks to the X marked next to the number. I actually came across the X address on places that were not on the monger map by just scrolling through the streets on Google Maps. My plan is to rent a bicycle, ride around in daylight on a recon mission to scope out the alleged locations, and catch a cab back when they are open in the evening (I'm told they open later after dark).

Was on a family holiday for New Years. Sneaked our for a bit of fun at Riverview Spa. Was shown a lineup of 10 odd girls. Picked up a young Javanese named Dera (if I am correct) 22 years.

Routine Massage, boom boom & jacuzi followed by shower.

Not sure when you extended your visa. Immigration office has been moved to Mumbul area (Jl Taman Jimbaran) perhaps about 6 months ago and probably even longer. No spa's with services like Onasis in that area for those who would ask.
