For those on a budget, or often just wishing to have a hotel with a friendly bar etc, by far the best deal is the Hotel Bali Senia on Jl Danau Poso very close to 69X by the Cirlcle K.

Rooms are around 20 USD, very girl friendly. Australian run. No pool but if your cash is tight its a very adequate place. Good food also.

Add this to the list Barri mentioned a couple of posts ago. A few hundred meters from Semawang.

My partner and I are visiting Bali again in August. We are interested to find swingers, or eventually buy professional services to engage in threesomes (with man and / or girl).

As for my recent post #3100 there has of course not been any proof provided, nor any apology. This tells enough about the character behind that ranting, so no more needs to be said.

Now back to providing information:

I asked there last year and from memory the rooms were around $45. Probably slightly cheaper is Watering Hole 2 opposite Trophy Pub (next to Sanur Beach Hotel entrance) and also Hotel Semawang in the lane next to Trophy Pub which I would expect to be $35 or less. Villa Puri Ayu close to Semawang is nearer $50 to $55 but also is a much nicer place and closer to the beach.

Actually, I meant to ask Avoloz the price for a short time room at Sukun, but it's good you come up with some suggestions for accomodation in the Semawang area.

I have in the passed used and re-used a few cheap hotels/homestays in Semawang. For me the advantage of staying there is that practically all hot spots are within walking distance.

1. Kesumasari Beach hotel.
At the bottom of Jl Kesuma Sari (down from the Ganesha roundabout) right at the beach. It's more of a homestay with bungalows. Only two rooms have fan (and only one of these has a king size bed: room no 9) the others have AC. Fan rooms 300 000 IDR, AC rooms 350 000, incl. breakfast and taxes. Can be negotiated down. No pool.

2. Puri Gopa hotel.
Right at the Ganesha roundabout, corner of Jl Kesuma Sari and Jl Cemara, entrance from Jl Kesuma Sari. Two floor hotel with pool. Standard double room from 45 USD incl. breakfast but plus taxes, if I remember correctly. Internet in lobby.

3. Bali Kembali Cottages.
Located some 150 m. off Jl Danau Tamblingan, the main entrance is some 100 m. north of Ganesha roundabout. There is also a back entrance from Jl Bet Ngandang2 (which runs from fishbowl 89 and passes 21X). The hotel consists of bungalows surrounding a big green garden with a pool in the middle. Bungalows are bit rundown, but functional. Rooms from 35 USD including taxes but not breakfast. Very peaceful!

4. Ari Putri hotel.
On Jl Cemara, some 250 m. from the Ganesha roundabout. Two floor hotel, quite many rooms, pool. Room rates from 34 USD (including taxes and breakfast) at low season.

I was out I realised in 40 minutes and worked hard to reduce a little oral and hand job for 600. 000 rup.

Add the 250. 000rup to that at the beginning it wasnt value.

Any suggestions on where I can get some relief around Seminyak / Legian be appreciated.
