No plus plus action in Seminyak.

Baliboy doesn't know what he is talking about when he says there are no massage places with happy endings in Seminyak.

For starters there is Rosalinda on Jl Nakula (the extension of Jl Double Six east of Jl Legian. Rosalinda is about 100m down Nakula on the left hand side. You can get a two-fer there. Bit seedy for my taste.

For a more upmarket rub and tug, continue down Jl Nakula til the traffic lights and pull a hard left on to Sunset. Within 50m of the intersection, on the left hand side of Sunset heading north is a massage place next to an Indian restaurant. Fish bowl and the whole nine yards. Forget the name, something like Bugar Jaya I think.

In Jalan Padma (technically Legian) are two places almost side by side right down on the left hand side, after the small road that connects Padma with Melasti. Choose carefully. One is / was staffed by Lady Boys, but if that doesn't bother you, I hear they do a pretty decent hand job.

On Jl Padma Utara, (10 m from the aforementioned massage places, turn right) head north almost as far as Rum Jungle Road and in the same stretch as Poco Loco, you will find naughty looking girls on the sidewalk offering massage. I presume they have places down the small alleys which run off to the right.

Then, of course, there is the old stand-by Kuta Bugar, (technically Kuta but near enough to Seminyak to make no difference) on Jl Setiabudi, which is the road which connects Jl Imam Bonjol with the bottom end of Sunset. This is a full-on, fishbowl, three floor place. A few doors back at the end of the same block as Kuta Bugar is / was a big place called Balinese Massage. Erections demolished here too.

I'm sure there are many more in the general vicinity of Seminyak and a quick trawl through this forum will reveal all if you use the search function properly.

Was in Sanur today.

Police ripped me off: Didn't have an international driving license. They asked for 1. 000. 000, I finally paid 300. 000. Later I learned, the going rate for this is 100. 000. I hate corruption!

OK, need to ask as I was never stopped at all by the police while in Sanur. What did you do that caught their attention? Normally they don't stop anyone. Also, if you were riding on a moto, they require more than an Intl drivers license (at least the last time I was there).

Just for a change of scenery I decided to grab a motorbike for a few days which made it easy to go visit this bar. There's not any good reason to go here except that there are a handful of WL's hanging out there. Imagine a Thai bar but without the theécor, without the loud music and without any personality and you start to get the picture! Lucky for us they bother moving to Bali!

I am a newbee. Your accommodations might include or have an option for a driver. I believe most drivers (and tour guides) are aware of the games and can be discrete if it is to their advantage. With a group, drivers can get you to where you want and provide cover and call you if your presence is required. A local SIM card is a must and they can get one for you for under 100K.

The other poster asked about cheap accommodations around five star hotels. I would like to know too as I once had to book two nights at nearby four star in order to play with a really sweet thing from the first hotel.

Decided to check it out for the first time at 11pm after not over-indulging in alchohol all evening as I usually do! Tip for jl Danau Tempe explorers : Don't go the place 1Ball paid a visit (#2499). Which is that alley wth a row of fleapits.

But keep going till the small bridge (60 m) then 40 m from the bridge (left hand) see a pair of guys sitting and chatting at the entrance of a small gang. Have a look inside. 10 Kafe with rooms, all in all more than 100 WG.

Some are very nice looking girls.

Drink beers and see what's happen. Local place. Clean if compare to fleapit alley.

That's the best advice. There are a few Circle K's so could be confusing. Try asking for the Indo restaurant Sari Bundo. No 29 (NOT 29X) is only a few meters north of there, same side. Don't tell the driver a thing. You'll only get asked 200K. It seems the best time is 7pm on. Better luck next time. Don't give up though!
