ATM withdraws

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but my experience with ATMs is thus:

If I use an Indo ATM to withdraw money from an off-shore bank account, I pay the bank's standard fee for such a transaction. Doesn't matter if the ATM is in Bhutan or Bali. It's the same cost.

If I use an Indo ATM to withdraw money from an Indo account, I don't pay any fee if I use that particular bank's machine. If I use another bank's ATM I pay Rp 6, 000 per transaction (70c US).

My understanding of the exchange rates are that they are all converted into US dollars irrespective of the account holder's bank. In other words, if you are using an Australian bank account, the transaction is calculated at the interbank rate between Australian dollars, US dollars, and Indonesia rupiah.

I haven't heard that a particular Indonesian bank's ATMs are any more advantageous than any other. I'm sure the rest of the pack will correct me if I am wrong on any of this.

ATM withdraws

Thinking of going to Bali early next year.

I know that most ATM will have a service fee for withdrawing cash but aside from the fees.

Just wondering if the actual exchange rates for ATM machines are the same for all banks or do they vary. If they do vary, for those living in Bali or Indo that uses the ATMs, which banks offer the best exchange rates when taking money out?

Have not been back to Sanur in about a year so guess the prices have gone up. Last trip it was no problem getting 150k at most (but not all) X-hse. Yes they always start off with a front price at 250k (or more) but quickly come down to earth when they realize you know the real price.

All niter (LT) should be at MOST 1million rp and not 2million as others have paid. I don't think any lady in this area is worth 2mill as these are prices I pay at home and don't need to travel 1/2 way round the globe to pay-IMO.

Note:Tipping for ST at any X-hse brothel should not exceed 50k max. Remember they are also happy with less as these places cater mainly to locals (they account for over 85% of the clients) and locals almost never tip, so when we tip anything, even $1-2 they appreciate it.

Also, only tip the ladies that work for X-hse as most of what we pay goes more to the pimp rather than the lady but NEVER tip any FL you pick up as 100% goes to their pockets (if she is not with a pimp) already so your price already included her tip.

FYI, the 100K ST tip and 300K LT tip were negotiated directly with the lady for BBFS service. Without that specific service I would agree with you that the tips should be no more than half those amounts.

Mate, made a mistake, the rosalinda I'm thinking of is not on Nakula, its further down in legian itself. If you find the double-the sports bar, just past there is a small lane leading to the left, there is a small sign on the wall saying 'rosalinda' and the spa is about 50mtrs on the left. Sorry for wrong addy before, but there are a few rosalindas in the area.

There has been some reports on disappointment with performance lately (CBJ etc) and I had my fair share by Dewi at 29, see post #2814 from August this year. In order to avoid such mistakes in the future I have prepared the ChickCheckList which I plan to review together with the girl, during the initial small talk and before any undressing starts. Even with poor English it ought to be understandable for any girl. If the result is no satisfactory I will change girl.

Got it! Rosalinda spa on Jalan Nakula, it just off Jl Legian. I didn't negotiate, I was happy 2 girls, naked, quick romp for 400, but you could prob negotiate better. Its a bit rough only curtains closing off the fun are from the main room, they had 3 girls, none weree stunners, but they done the job and no holes were barred. If you get my drift.
