Recently in Bali for business and spent two non consecutive evenings at Grahadi. Approx 10 guys, all associates, all staying at the one hotel, some players, some not, so very careful about after karaoke activities.

Karaoke was fun, girls very happy to put up with close and personal contact. Going to a nightclub with your girlfriend and ask arround in skygarden if a girl is willing to do a threesome with you???? Sorry, but I can't imagine that.

Compared to Thailand, in the nightclubs aren't many hookers anyway.
Packed? Never been in Double Six when it was packed (it is actually never really packed even during the high season).
Was there several times with Asian girlfriends and they where surounded imadiately by lots of guys as there simply not enough hookers in the clubs.

Just for information, most clubs in the Seminyak and Legian areas try to keep the hardcore hookers to a minimum. The rule of thumb is that if they are well dressed and look good then they will let them in .. if they are average then they will be many times refused entry unless with a western guest. All clubs charge the locals 50.000 for entry and this tends to keep the low end out as they will only be offer services for 300.000 or so.
irls from my humble experience are at Sky Garden, Baccio and Dejavu the rest will get the lower end or the better girls who have already finished with a short timer and looking for more.

well, i'm guessing bunaken and lembeh are both probably pretty dry, but manado, the city right next to bunaken, has a few options. i haven't been in a while, but the basement bar of the grand puri hotel was always a reliable place to meet working girls a few years back. also sw on the waterfront to the right of the shopping malls, though they all looked a bit haggard when i checked them out.

though now that you mention it, i remember reading a report about a guy staying at a resort in one of those areas. he was resigned to a 2 week dry spell, but went to get a massage at the resort spa after a long day of diving. in walks a cute young thing looking for a big tip... problem solved. actually massages are often sorta sneaky ways to get semi-legal prostitution into the family resorts all across asia. ymmv of course.

give a report when you get back, i like to get out to manado/bunaken every once in a while.

I have been to Lembeh several times, never to Bunaken, and there really is nothing to speak of.

Like 1Ball I have been to Lembeh several times and he is right, there's no nookie there. There's a one in a million chance you might score a resort housemaid, or even a big beefy German dive girl but there's only one reason to go to Lembeh that is muck diving.

Across the strait, back on the mainland, is the major port of Bitung, and there are any number of brothels there, catering, not surprisingly, to seamen. It's pretty wild and woolly but I've had a couple of spectacularly beautiful girls there. It's better to take them off-site in my opinion. A narrow plastic covered bench in a cubicle hardly bigger than a man lying down, with a greasy curtain on the door and triplex walls barely six feet high with wire mesh above it is not my idea of a venue conducive to enjoyable sex.

Manado City where Bunaken is, is always said to contain Indonesia's sexiest women. I think that means they are pale, given that Indos equate whiteness with beauty. There are yards of hookers here too. Again, drag them out of their brothels rather than fuck them on the premises.

A word to the wise, some of the dive resorts are a bit prim about bringing working girls back, so maybe you'll feel more comfortable getting a room in one of the bigger Manado hotels.

Bunaken diving is a bit saccharine in my opinion, yeah lots of pretty coral gardens and quite fishy, but it's not exciting diving.

A bit further out from Bunaken is a small island called Bangka which has much of the coral garden stuff, with the promise of some exciting pelagic diving. Murex used to have bungalows on this island and used it as a base for trips outside the national park.

If muck diving at Lembeh gets a bit ho hum, one of the resorts there, Lembeh Resort, has developed some sites to the south at Buyat Bay which are said to be out of this world.

Tim, I have been to Lembeh several times, never to Bunaken, and there really is nothing to speak of. However, if you average 4 to 5 dives a day at Lembeh, you are going to be so tired anyway.............

in fact, now that i think about it, i'd say the good-scuba-diving/workinggirls ratio is better in baii than any other place i can think of - you've got nusa penida, the liberty wreck, mola mola's, menjangan island, manta point, etc, all quite good and all doable from bali. plus sanur (cheap as anywhere) and kuta (freelancers). manado/bunaken only has a couple places to find wg's, pattaya and phuket both have pretty shitty diving, the red sea is ridiculously conservative, ko tao is gonna be very limited for girls, great barrier reef has western prices if you can even find an escort, etc etc

i can't really speak for the bahamas cause i haven't been there since i was 10 lol

I agree with you about Bali and Indonesia being superior to Thailand when it comes to diving. Had some excellent dives at the places you mentioned. But have had more sucess with the mongering in Thailand. Still missing out on the Philippines for what I presume is the ultimate combination. I'm planning to do my DM on Ko Tao next month and will probably spend a week on Samui and test drive a few girls and collect numbers so I can bring them over if needed.

What time of the year are we talking about? Have there suddenly come a lot of mongers to Bali now in May?

I went out in Kuta a couple of nights in April from 10.30 pm to 4 am. There were quite a lot of WGs looking for customers. There were more girls than mongers at the clubs. Unfortunately only a few of the girls were real stunning. On the other hand the best looking girls are not always the best performers.

I also saw some musclemans. I did not speak to them so I don't know if they were mentally handicapped. But they were just drinking and dancing and not mongering, anyway.

I asked a few girls for short time price and they started at 3-400 000. I did not negotiate because I was just checking and not really looking for a girl. At approx 2.30 am a girl hit very hard on me at a bar and made, also physically, everything she could to get me excited. Her price was 200 000 for an hour. I was very tempted but I was not looking for a girl this time.

So I am very surprised if the scene has changed so dramatically already.

bali isn't bangkok or jakarta, but there are girls aplenty here. you're welcome to disagree, but i've been all over the world and have an informed opinion on the subject.

also, for the record, i've lived and worked on koh phanang, there are girls there but in my experience there are more girls here. and the diving on bali/nusa penida is a hair better than koh phanang/koh tao imho. nusa penida, candidasa and even the liberty wreck are all available as day trips.

i'm not sure why you're so anti-bali

I'm not anti-bali, it is one of my favorite destinations for vacation and living, but it just not a monger destination at all. It might be great for americans as they are not used to prostitution, but for me as an european (50 brothels in my neigbourhod) with a lot of experience in Asia, it is just shit.

i've seen double six packed to the gills with kinky freaks more times than i can count, consistently, over the years, and only rarely seen it otherwise (except before 3:30am, when it is always a ghost town - perhaps you went early)

I spent 2 years on the island and I know when to go to the clubs. I can't remember any day when Double Six was packend (only on the aniversery), during the week it is actually empty alomost every day.

bangkok doesn't have bali's beaches

Just to remind you - Bali doesn't have really nice beaches. The beach in the South (Kuta/Legian/Seminyak/Canggu) is actualy dirty and of a "Pattaya quality". Even places like White Sand Beach (Padang Bai) are not impressive at all if you compare it with the neighbouring islands and countries.

For a nice beach vacation + girls, the Thai islands are far far far better. Try Ko Chang or Ko Phangan.

What???? The diving spots are about two hours away from any nightlife and you call that great? In two hours I can get from Samui or Ko Phangan easily to Ko Tao, I can get from Phuket almost to the Similan islands in that time.

Diving + girls? I would go for Puerto Galera / Philippines or Ko Phangan (more than 25 Ladybars in Thong Sala and girls on ervery party).

And again. I think Bali is a nice island with lovely people and great nightlife in the south, but it is the wrong place for sex tourism.
