Been in Bali a few days, pretty disappointed to be honest. I'm not much into working girls, but I love having a massage with a happy ending.

As Roger mentioned there's Swell and Body Arum plus a Body Arum reopened again in Sanur at Jl Pantai Sindu near the Bypass in front of resto Kayu Manis. BA gives happy ending but they don't go naked but it's relatively cheap with prices going to 250 k-300 k.

You probably can get a massage and blow job and more for that price in Chloe Spa on Jl Danau Tamblingan near pasar Sindu.

Swell has another joint named Flame Spa on Jl Patih Jelantik near Kuta. Women go butt naked but you pay the price. About 650 k for one hour and most likely the only place that is adding tax and sevice on top of their prices. Ridiculous. Touching and groping allowed. Perhaps titty sucking. Nothing more.

You want to have a massage and go the whole 9 yards there are joints nearby Flame. Area is Kuta Central Park with places like Ofis Spa and Delapan Spa. No idea what they charge in Delapan but I have read on Kaskus you can have it all in for 650 k instead of 850 k if you tell them you've heard about the price on Kaskus forum.

If you're more into Flame type of SOP then perhaps you can go to Refrezzz also situated on Kuta Central Park. Bikini, monokini or full nude. No all in. Another Refrezzz is situated in Denpasar, Jl Tukad Batanghari not that far away from BA in Renon. It's another Sensation Spa like the Refrezz in Kuta Central Park. Two more of such sensation type of Spa's are Kretya and Sriya Spa in Jl Merta Sari if I'm not wrong.

Want to have more Spa with full service then you have Zona Spa which is also on the Bypass not far away from Onasis. Another one named Riverview on Jl Kresna and Maharani on Jl. Merta Nadi nearby Sunset road where Snake Massage is available for 450 k with a girl who goes topless and whatever else you want as long as you pay the price.

I can go on and on depending on what you're exactly looking for (Kuta Bugar, Oriental Massage, Mawar, Angels, Wisata, Praja Spa, the'ladera Spa, Melati if it still exist, Delta Spa, Royal Palace,.). Don't forget that in most places they speak barely English.

Some of the massage places might offer more than a massage, and plenty of girls on wechat. For fishbowls head over to Sanur which is about 20 minutes away across the toll road.

Seems a bit of a sleepy place, but wondered if there were any hidden gems for massage with extras!? I've also heard about 'beer massage' in Bali, and again keen to know if there's such a thing in Ubud.

So my question is: in order to present yourself as friendly yet proper, what's the best way to greet a "regular" Indonesian girl who you're meeting for the first time in a public place?
Kiss on the cheek, handshake, respectful distance, somersaults?

If it matters, I'm a younger looking 39 years old and they're in the 24 to 32 age range.

Last year using Badoo and Tagged (Hi-5) I met 3 local girls and after some conversations they knew why I was there and what they could expect. In regards to meeting in public a handshake is fine. Dressing well and displaying good manners will score you brownie points. Referring to them as M'Bak pronounced like mmaaa is respectful and they may call you Mas, if not Balinese and Bli if Balinese. Pretty much other then holding hands any public displays of affection is frowned upon if they are "good girls". Good behaviour in public will be rewarded as by my experience the longest I was in my room with any of them clothed was about 5 minutes.

Be careful not to fall for the girls or lead them on that you are marrying material as it will cause them to lose face or you may have a fairly ferocious stalker on your hands.

Talking about accommodation, can anyone tell me what I should pay for a couple of months in Sanur? I checked Airbnb and it looks like about US $650-800 per month for clean, modern 1-room that has ac and WiFi and is within walking distance of the fishbowls and a few bars / convenience stores. This is for March / April next year.

Will I do better than that booking a short stay and then doing a deal for the rest of the time? Do many of the hotels there have kitchens you can use?

I'd like to pay about $400 if possible but at that price I'm seeing "be aware there is no hot water", "fan cooled", "only 30 minutes to the nearest bar", "must like roaches" etc.

Grateful for any local info / pointers.

Negotiations are well accepted in Bali. You can work it and get it down to $400. A month.

Thank you, Roger! I don't mind paying a bit more, and giving tips for good service. What would be the best time to find a good selection at the fishbowls? Do you have any favorites (I have most of the addresses noted from the forum and the X house map)? I'm assuming that all hotels in the area are girl friendly so for the reason you noted, I might skip the Mercur. I'm not really a beach person and I can't decide if I want to spend four days in Sanur, or spend 2 nights in Sanur and 2 in Kuta / Legian. I would like to have at least one evening out in Kuta to see the action but I guess I can always take Uber or Grab back to Sanur at 2:00 AM.

Regarding hotel in Sanur area, I can advise Hotel Jati and Home Stay on Jl. Danau Tamblingan 168 - 170, I stayed there last year, less than 40 €, very nice typical Balinese villas, may be it could be a good option.
