Again, I didn't visit Bali to monger, I didn't fully RTFM, and I'm not asking for help, so please don't flame. This is just my misadventures here in Kuta. Bali is a beautiful place of rice terraces, volcanoes, temples, beaches, culture, and friendly people. Is Kuta really part of Bali? It seems like a different country.

Tonight I figured I'd visit Sky Garden, where all the freelancers are rumored to be. But they wanted 150,000 just to go in (including two beers, like a 50,000 value). I didn't want to pay 150,00 just to have the opportunity to potentially negotiate with a FL, so I decided to visit some of the other clubs. Paddy's Pub did have a few FL standing near the bar, but nothing to get too excited about. The bar with the fire dancer outside didn't have any FL whatsoever. I didn't go in Engine Room, but it looked to be full of Aussie kids.

Wandering down Legian Street, I stumbled into a place where some FL were sitting on motorbikes, but again, nothing to be excited about. One that was kind of attractive asked 500,000 for a "massage complete. " I turned her down and went into a relatively quiet bar across the street. Later two Chinese guys accompanied her into the bar and they disappeared into the back. Later I saw her at Paddy's Pub. She was probably the most attractive FL I saw. The most attractive of all were the Asian tourist girls.

Kuta puts me in a bad mood with all the sketchy guys whispering "transport, marijuana, mushrooms, cocaine, lady. " I refuse to use them to procure a lady for me. I just stare straight ahead walking down the street, trying my best to avoid them. But that puts me in a bad mindset for looking for FL. Maybe tomorrow, my last night in this horrible place, I'll bite the bullet and pay to go in Sky Garden. Or maybe I'll drive around Sanur. Whoever made the Bali Monger Map deserves an award.

I figured I'd share my unlucky experience in Bali. I'm here primarily for touristic reasons. I spent two weeks driving a scooter around the island. Now I'm getting ready to spend a month driving a scooter to Flores, where there won't be any mongering available. I figured I should try my luck here in Kuta.

Angel's Salon sounded like the easiest bet, so I drove over there. It's in a weird place, right on a busy highway. It's super sketchy and run down. There were about five girls there when I arrive around eight, and they looked rather good. I picked the one I thought was the prettiest, Elok, 28, with one baby. She said she was from Bali, which explains why she was so pretty.

The room was dirty with bad lighting. She had a nice body, with small tits, and no evidence of a baby. She spoke some English. She had a crazy sore on her forearm where I think she cut a tattoo off? The session was good enough. You could hear girls moaning in the rooms next door, which was both kind of creepy, yet erotic.

That sort of put a damper on my mongering here. I've got two more nights here. Maybe I'll go to Sky Garden. Maybe I won't. I don't want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere with an STD.

I also met a 23 year old from Sumatra here on holiday off of Tagged. She was tiny and looked anorexic, but I figured I'd still try. The way she hung onto me on my motorbike I though I'd get lucky. She came up to my room to look at my photos. The staff all smiled and winked at me and made her give them her ID, but she wasn't a prostitute. Going down from 1 to 0.5 juta happens (Vivian) but most ask 600, 700 or 1000 k as minimum.

I before mentioned "Gina Lee" a very pretty looking one advertising online and contacted her but she was at 1.5 juta and that is not my range. While others closed the negotiation with "stupid asshole" Gina closed it with "thanks anyway" showing she definitely has more style than others.

I'm doing something here that I've never done before on ISG, which is that I'm quoting one of my own reports from June 2008. It's highly possible that much of the information is incorrect (I haven't been to Bali lately), so I'm curious if anyone cares to comment on whether the places mentioned in the report are still accurate..

I remember that post, MS; one of the best till then and about a year before I made the first map.

The walk-in price is still 200 k (or rather: it is now 200 k as it was 150 k at that time).

67 X is still active at the bottom of the Circle K lane: you pass the fish bowls 18 an 66 X on the way down.

29 (note: without any X, thus it is not an X-house) is still gong strong: good round-up from 8. 30 - 9 pm and onwards.

101 X has closed down.

Dian Ayu no longer has any girls hanging around, but you can BYO and have a room for 80 k / hour.

It's highly possible that much of the information is incorrect (I haven't been to Bali lately), so I'm curious if anyone cares to comment on whether the places mentioned in the report are still accurate.

The point of this is. Nataz, the bar that I was referring to is the On-On Bar, which was owned by a Dutch guy, and which was still open at 1 am That last time I was there. My bet is that it's still open, please check it out when you're in the area.

Just to update a bit, On-On is now owned by an Australian, the Dutch guy still owns Limling, but is unlikely to be in the bar.

The Sembawang Banjar that control the Danau Poso area have clamped down on operating hours lately. Bars are supposed to shut at 1. 00 am but the On On seems to stay open a bit longer.

Angels Bar, beside the On-On was recently closed down by the Banjar, not sure why, or if it has re opened.

The X houses in Sanur, Bali are easier to find than I had thought, given what I had read earlier on ISG. I visited 4 different X houses, none of them were dumps, and 3 of the 4 featured mainly young girls (early 20s).

There are two main north-south roads in Sanur, Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai which is the main multi-lane road that carries most of the through traffic, and a narrower one-lane-in-each-direction road (Jalan Danau Poso which becomes Jalan Danau Tamblingan) which forks off of the main road at the southern end of Sanur, and then essentially runs parallel to the main road, just off of the beach. Most of the X houses were on Jalan Danau Poso.

Summary of my visit here:
I had a taxi drive me around to three different places, # 67x and # 29x on Jalan Danau Poso, and Dian Ayu off of the main road. In each place, I decided to not take a girl at that time, and ended up having the taxi drop me off at the On-On Bar. I had a beer at the bar, then walked back up the road, ending up having a decent session at # 67x. While walking up the road, I walked past # 29x and discovered # 101x on my own.

My decent session at # 67x was with Icha, 20 years old, very pretty face, a bit shy, much larger than normal breasts (firm/no kids), not GFE, decent BJ skills, tight, had only worked there a short while, from Bandung in West Java. 200,000 rupiah plus a 50,000 rupiah tip.

A quick overview:
If youre coming from town/the main road, turn onto Jalan Danau Poso, which becomes the parallel beach road. Within 2 minutes drive time, there are at least three decent X houses, all on the left hand side, and all within a 5 minute walk of each other. Here are the landmarks, with the Tessar Shop as an easy starting point and the On-On Bar as an end point:

# 67x is right down the alley to the left of the Circle K store. I visited here twice, for both visits I sat down outside in the courtyard and within less than one minute 5 girls appeared in a line-up, all early 20s and attractive. The price quoted was 300,000 rupiah when the taxi brought me there, then later on the price was only 200,000 rupiah when I walked in on my own. Rooms are in villas around the courtyard, fairly new and very clean. I ended up having a session here (see above).

# 29x, theres a lit-up black and white sign at beginning of alley. Once you go down the alley, theres an open large pavilion-type room, with one meter tall walls and then straw mats hanging down from the ceiling to block the view from outsiders until you walk behind the mats. The room is a open-fish-bowl set-up with at least 20 girls sitting around, most appeared to be in early 20s. The price quoted was 300,000 rupiah when I arrived with a taxi, I did not stay.

# 101x, the entrance is directly on the roadside, with 15/20 girls right inside in the front yard and front room. A couple of girls were standing at the front door and it was obvious what was going on here. This place is directly across from the Orange Mini-Mart convenience store. The price quoted was 250,000 rupiah when I walked in on my own, I did not stay as I was heading over to # 67x, but this place would have been my second choice in case # 67x didnt work out.

On-On Bar, a low key, neighborhood bar with pool tables, cute bar girl employees, a couple of free-lance hookers in their 30s dressed in black, most customers are European or Aussie men.

Heres the trick on getting the best house price:
I learned that the rate quoted will be lower if you walk in rather than if a taxi brings you in. For example, at # 67x, I was quoted 300,000 rupiah when I came with a taxi. When I returned later, walking in, the rate had dropped to 200,000 rupiah. So, I recommend that you take a taxi to either the On-On Bar or the Orange Mini-Mart, then make your way on foot to the three places.

Dian Ayu I also was taken by the taxi driver to a 4th place which was off the main north-south road (rather than the parallel beach road). It is known as Dian Ayu and had at least 20 girls, all of whom appeared to be over 30 years old, many with visible mileage on their faces and bodies. Not surprisingly, these girls were the most aggressive. After I saw the line-up and said Id leave, some of the girls came up to me to flirt with me and grab my crotch, etc. Although there were one or two decent choices here, I personally would not return here, no point in doing so when the other 3 places all have lots of younger, prettier girls to choose from.

Are there late nights bars or clubs in Sanur? Or even a general idea of when the party closes would be a great start for me.

Lim Ling and a few others are open after 10. A lot of the WG's show up about that time. A lot of makeup and dark lighting can fool anyone. These are usually all pros from Surabaya or Banguwani. Look close before you take one home.

I'm not much of a party animal in general, and especially not after way too many hours in the air, but if I enter Sanur after everything has shut down, I won't find a SYT to go to relax with either. I think PT meant to say that the bars wind down efter 11 pm (although along jl Danau Poso a few bars keep going after midnight now). However: the fishbowls and ST hotels are open till well after midnight; some girls have said they remain 'on duty' till 3AM. But it might still be a gamble with the SYT you pick.

I doubt that this has changed much, especially as fishbowls seem to get going a bit later nowadays. And as I reported in post #4239: 3B on jl Sekar Waru doesn't even open until 10 pm!

So if you arrive before 1.30 am: try your luck with the map first if you hotel is nearby, or ask the reception after giving your specifications.

A little late and I sure you'll be tired. I would book a hotel in Sanur and when you arrive ask the agent if he has any WG's in his pocket. He can get you one in an hour. You'll pay a premium but if you want fast then that's the price. Please post the results. I am sure that the other seniors can also give you heads up on how to set up the WG before you get to Bali.

I would love to hear from other members on how to setup a WG before arriving. Is there a local website the FL girls use to advertise? Good points. W Bar has multiple screens and shows a number of sporting events simultaneously. Last time I was there watching rugby there was also a crowd watching the AFL.

Very good suggestions. And there are others. The problem with the NFL is it starts at 2 am and goes until around 11 am. Most bars are closed when the NFL games are being played. And the few that are open will only be showing one game - the one that happens to be on ASN at the time. You will also find that if there is a soccer game going on at the same time, they will show that rather than the NFL game. I watch the games in my hotel room on the internet via NFL Gamepass.
