I am hoping that someone on this forum can update me on the current condition of Yeh Panes, a hot springs resort, maybe 10 K north of Tabanan.
My days consisted of early morning landscape photography followed by a relaxing spa. After lunch, my petite Javanese beauty (who was on permanent night shift at reception) used to visit me. We oft times used to share an intimate spa in one of the fenced spa pools higher up the slope. Late afternoon I would do more photography and after dinner I would often lie in bed making love to a Javanese girl in the romantic light of thousands of fire flies (that resided in a big tree less than 5 feet from my balcony). The security guard at the back gate would always offer to arrange a nightly girl for me.

P.S. I would post pics of these girls, but they are all slides (an archaic form of photography for you younger hunks) and they are in storage back in Oz (I live in Thailand).

When you are reunited with your slides, project them and take digital pics of the projections. Easiest way to convert IMHO, even if not the highest quality. It would be appreciated. Hope you get info about your resort. Lovely memories.

I stayed there 3 times during the late nineties and have fond memories of my visits (up to 21 days at a time). I was generally the only guest apart from a few buses (full of Taiwanese tourists from cruise ships) which visited the hot springs every week. Only one lot of those tourists would stay overnight.

Of course there is zero mongering with Balinese ladies. I remember chatting to a Balinese girl (university student) who was attending a function at the resort and wearing traditional dress. After a few minutes her father got quite angry that we were chatting! That was the end of my attempted seduction! She apologetically, but dutifully, left me and joined another group.

I got very friendly with the Balinese working there and often helped some of the staff (for example bringing tablets from Australia for a lady whose husband had been badly hurt in a motorbike accident - they were too poor to be able to afford any medicines). In return, I was invited to the homes of some of the Balinese villagers and even attended a Balinese wedding (an all day affair) and a couple of fiery funerals. I wrote the history of the Yeh Panes hot spring, that had miraculously sprang from the base of the Banyan tree to cure a King's bad skin (long story). Apparently, the story had never before been documented, and this was sincerely appreciated by the locals as the Banyan tree and spring was actually a local 'temple'.

I am very aware that these types of locally owned (actually Denpasar Chinese owned) resorts have little proper maintenance and fall apart quite quickly. Can anyone advise the current state of the property. I would like to visit again, although this time it will be with my Chinese SYT.

Went 18 this morning.

The Papasan wanted Rp250 K not the usual Rp 200 K.

I said No and eventually got my way.

Later in the room my lady explained that the Police will commence raids on the X houses commencing.

On or about the 14th November 2015.

I would suggest the Papasan is aware of this and is upping the fee to cover a future expense.

Be Aware these raids could last up to two weeks.

Hi Guys, I spent three days in Sanur and three days in Kuta last month, both at Mercur Hotel which I liked very much. Mercur has nice rooms, good food and entertainment -- both music and Balinese dancing girls. In Sanur I rented a scooter for less than 5 bucks a day and visited 11 X and 67 X. Both places had girls to my liking for 200 K -- less than 20 bucks. I also took a liking to Lemon Bintang beer. Sanur Mercur also has a mini bus to Hardy's Market which is a great place to buy groceries and souveneirs. I also met a regular Bali girl at Hardies who was stunning and got a dinner date with her but alas she was just looking for her next sugar daddy so no happy ending here. The bars in Sanur can be fun with girls and live music. One in particular up the street from Mercur was called Beach Breeze and had some nice acoustic live music and good food. Sanur is good for watching the sunrise and Kuta is good for watching the sunset. Mercur Kuta is right across from the beach in the heart of the city, right next to Hard Rock Cafe. The top floor of Mercur Kuta has a rooftop pool and amazing view of the western sunset. A walk up the street yilded a restaraunt name unrecalled with the biggest hamburger I ever ate. The damned thing was six inches tall so I had to cut it into eight pieces to eat it. Food and lodging is so cheap and good in Bali. I had two DIAs lined up and both turned out to dead ends. The first one was grossly overweight so be sure to skype with the girl before you meet her. The second one was absolutely gorgeous and super sexy but was on her period so nothing happened. She was also a single mom so our second date did not materialize as I would have hoped. No worries, there is always the bar scene so I picked up a nice one named Ocha at a place called Tamin Sari where the beer wraps state "the best customer is intelligent, educated and a little drunk" so I fit right in. Ocha was sweet and sexy and we both got quite hammered and she spent the night with me at Mercur and banged like bunnies. Great sex and bangin body. I would definitely go to Bali again and want to thank all the ISG contributors to this thread for their outstanding reports.

There is virtually no action in Ubud it seems, I think the local mafia keep a tight control on things. I did get lucky just once in a little massage shop in a back street called Jalan Goutama. I think this was just pure luck though as it was early in the morning and no-one was around and so she thought it was safe to take the risk. It was pretty ordinary though.

Been back a few days, so time for the trip report. 2 efforts.

My preference is for Internet, order-in to my Sanur hotel for festivities. First free night I manged to arrange an o / and booking with a contact off CL. The disappointing thing was that she was not available that night due to a friends party (she sent me photos. LOL), so abut 10.30 pm I figured I was getting nowhere that night on line so would go for a massage and see if I could get lucky.

Low and behold, 5 min walk from the hotel and a guy offering girls approached me on the street. Yep, I'm as surprised as you are. WAY out my comfort zone, but I was ready to go and figured what the hell, would risk a rookie mistake. I jumped on the back of his scooter and off we went, 5 min to a hotel around the x houses. He said wait 5 min we bring girls. Sigh. Not many lights on, expecting to get mugged. The girls (2) came in on the back of a scooter, and I thought I had won lotto. One them was one of the best looking indo girls I have ever seen, 20 ish, very beautiful with a huge rack. So the choice was easy, and off to the room for 800 (2 hrs), inc the (average) room and tip for the transport.

Walking to the room following that ass. Boy was I ready to go, like a kleptomaniac with a full box of matches. But things went down hill from there. Roger Sideways probably means 23 on Sekar Waru, a fishbowl which opens early afternoon. House 29 on Danau Poso opens after 7 pm as ButtLover points out, but most girls arrive around 8 pm.

18 X opens about 11.30 am every day.

Yes I know but the girls are from the nearby 67 X.

There is an 18 X on Jl. Tirta Ening which is an ST hotel, then there is an 18 (without the bloody X) which is a fishbowl on the Circle K alley off Danau Poso. Which one is discussed here is hard to say, but I have never seen that 18 on Circle K alley takes girls from 'nearby 67 X'. Once 18 fishbowl is emptied the papasan guides you to 66 X (if it is after 9 pm) or 67 X.
