So I'm headed to Bali to do some diving in a few weeks. Really looking forward to do some other kind of diving while I'm there. I'm reading the thread, and I've found the map. That's going to be a really damn handy. I was curious, how up to date is it, though? The real question I have right now, is where to stay? I want to stay in Sanur. 1, because that's where all the dive shops are, and 2, it seems that's where all the action is. So can someone recommend me a nice, clean, girl friendly place for say, less than 50 bucks a night? I'll be there for about a week. Also, are there any other tips to give a Bali noob?

Taxis certainly are convenient and perfectly alright if you are willing to pay double or triple or even quadruple normal price, due to the commission the driver takes behind you back.

Agree with your comments. I never ever pay the regular tourist prices. You have to know the negotiation tactics well. On the last trip I got both resorts / hotels upgraded to Villas or Duplex for free and upgrade on planes. Easy as. And $35 for a good solid hour of sex with an 8+ is getting as close to free as you can get.

. Unless you know something I don't, the recent eruptions are some distance and on different islands (Java-Mount Kelud-and Sumatra-Mt Sinabung) , so, no, Seminyak is unlikely to be affected. All the affected airports are on Java, not Bali.

I drove down Jl Tirta Akasa a couple of times last week and there was no sign of life at 14A. Perhaps some of the local mongerers might check it out.

PC, I think Funman unintentionally made a fool you (which is a bit surprising since he is generally very precise). My guess is he omitted some crucial information. Like Went first to 505 in Sanur. Got there around 3 PM. The guys hanging out front told me 505 is only open from 8:00 pm to 4 am. So I went back to Kuta and to reliable Angels Salon. But if there actually is an Angels Salon in Sanur with the same service as the one in Kuta I would like to know to.

It can't be two busty Angi at 505.

1. BJ was definitely not on the menu.
