FYI, I'll be making my first ever trip to Bali Indonesia next week, for 3 weeks. My interests are general touristy stuff, as well as mongering. Thus far, my agenda includes the following:

4 days in the Sanur Area (Staying at the Tamu Kami hotel)

4 days in Lombok (Staying at the Sheraton Sengiggi - a freebie on SPG points)

3 days in Seminyak (staying at a cheapo place - the Bali Agung village hotel)

3 days in Ubud (staying at Tepi Sawah villas and spa)

5 additional days that are so far uncommitted

On my way home, I have a 1 day layover in Hong Kong, where I'll be staying at the MetroPark in Wanchai.


I understand that I might be pretty hard pressed to find any companionship in Lombok/Sengiggi, as well as in Ubud - does anyone have any creative suggestions for these areas?

Also, can anyone shed any light on the guest friendliness of the places I've chosen in Sanur as well as in Seminyak? I'm pretty comfortable from the posts on the forum that I will be able to find companions in these places, and where those spots are.

Also, I have 5 days at the end of my trip that I have not yet made any travel arrangements for. Any good ideas? Particularly with the emphasis on good mongering. Right now, my plan was to spend more time in whichever I enjoyed most of the earlier venues - probably Sanur or Seminyak/Kuta. But I'm not averse to flying somewhere else besides Bali that's not too far away - but I probably don't want to drop the cash for a venue like Singapore. And I don't think it's worth the effort to haul up to Bangkok/Pattaya. I'm thinking about Jakarta for 3-4 days. I appreciate any and all comments from the members.

Lol Well I was being facetious really. I do think if someone wants to do that, they are welcome to. It's like every other service industry, once in a while there'll be a big tipper but the norm isn't going to be that. If the service provider is that stupid to think she's worth all that, then she'll either get it or starve and come back to reality. It's supply and demand. Seriously, the arbitrary pricing of XXXk ST or LT may be a bit too strict since cost of living certainly has gone up. I guess it's nice to have industry standard pricing but it's Indo. They have Bule, Japanese, everyone else and local pricing. Many of us make more than the average indo punter, I'm ok with paying more. Not that I would do it without bargaining like hell for the fun of it.

I guess after my quickie in 67x and the reality of STDs, I sorta like the whole massage parlor thing. A little less seedy (just barely so) and the girls seem smarter about STDs.

That's exactly right. They make the best because it's self defence/ survival. But why most and not all WGs should be treated with respect?

You might have missed the reports about the sharks and con artists among those WG's. Examples: WG in Bandung says she will perform BJ but once inside the room absolutely refuses to do that or (like in Colombia) quoting 50, which normally means 50.000 pesos, but inside the room claims she meant 50 US dollars, etc, etc.

I was in Bali two weeks ago, whilst I had a look at Garhadi and eat a meal in their cafe (good place to see the girls)the prices werre rather high end, I spotted, The Balenese Spa on Setia Buda no 234, this is the road before the roundabout by planet Holliwood, and had a good time there, they had a fishbowl with about 20 girls in it, and all looked good, I choose an Indian looking girl, very pretty, I got a good massage and later extras, the whole lot came to 350, 000 rp, much less than Garhadi, and later I stayed in the spa and used the facilities for about an hour at no extra cost, itts open daily from 1100 until 2400, so anyone in Kuta give it a go, I am sure you will not be dissapointed.

I have to say I had a quite good experience with the agency as they provided me in 3 different days 3 excelent takeaways in places like Manggis and Ubud, for LT.
The only bad part ot the story was the "body guards" that delivered the "pizzas" whom, apart from seeming real pirates, colected the money and waked me up one night to take the "pizza" back, early morning....I called the Pimp and it did not happen again.

My opinion is that it is not difficult to get the "pizzas" mobiles instead of speaking to the PIMP couple....

Well, yesterday, I got fucked. Someone hacked one of the ATMs that I had recently used, got a hold of my card number and PIN. When I went to pull cash out, I found funds were not available as I had exceeded my daily limit. I ran home to look at my account online, and there had been 6 transactions in the last 24 hours, all at various ATMs in Singapore (I have not been in Singapore recently), for a total in excess of 900 USD. After calling my bank, and cancelling my card, and them promising to put the lost money in my account, I am however without cash, and without an ATM card. Thankfully, friends have been able to front me some money.

The strange thing is I have a daily withdrawal limit of 300 USD, by choice, and they still managed to grab over 900. The person at the other end of the line was not able to explain why.

Be careful out there, and check on a regular basis.
