Posts: 8In Sanur September, but worried
I arrive in Bali early September and I'm there for 2 weeks. I'm a bit concerned though as a mate said that September is a big holiday time Ramadan (sic) and that most girls will be returning home and that the X houses will be empty ?
Is this so, I did see somewhere on here the opposite advice saying that the girls in the X houses in predominantly muslim Java will come to Bali for work during this time meaning that it will be a girl bonanza in Bali in September.
Come on Prof and other Bali experts what is going to happen dudes?
Thanks in advance

Many thanks 1Ball and Robert Long. Great info. In unusual position of been a newbie which is quite refreshing for a change. Mongered all over the world, but never yet in Indonesia so looking forward to the experience. Imagine that Indonesian girls are similar to Filipina's in body shape and looks, if not in attitude.
With the proliferation of cheap, budget airlines with near giveaway fares (if you book far enough in advance), I'm embarking on a pet project of mine, which is a 50 day trip through 10 nations of SE Asia (if you count HK and Macau as nations) sampling the best of wine, women and song in each, with the emphasis on the women, though with a bit of beach lounging and general tourist stuff thrown in. So sites like this with expert mongers on each area are a godsend. So its Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia(?), Malaysia(?), Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam(?), China, Hong Kong and Macau with the question marks representing places I have yet to monger and require local specialist assistance. Should be fun and I will of course post reports (and hopefully photo's) as I proceed. Cheers GH

I have stayed at both and I really liked Puri Kelapa. It is at the McD's end of Sanua, on the beach side. The Girl Bars are very close, but the st houses are
a Bemo ride.
Be sure to use the Bemo's in Sanur. Little green mini vans. They will honk at you to get your attention. Usually only 2000 rp to ride to any place in Sanur.
Very important...IGNOR the TRANSPORT drivers. These guys are like fleas. And they will rip you off if they sense that you do not know Bali.
You can go to Lim Ling Bar and there will be a bemo there at night. Nyoman
is his name and for 20,000 he will take you and a few others on the Girl Tours.
You can see all of the sm hotels full of ladies waiting for your attention.
Buy a couple of beers for the tour and enjoy as they stream out of their rooms in hopes you pick them first. Then continue to the next house of the raisin sun.
Lim Ling and Baby Blue are at the McD's end of Sanur, walking distance from
Puri Kelapa. You can find ladies in these bars that will stay the night for
200,000 to 500,00. They are a little more mature and all speak english. The young ones at the ST houses usually do not speak english and are not as GFE
as the ones from the bars.

Posts: 2533Gamahucher, I don't know if this helps, but I just remembered the place I suggested to Jaimito Cartero a couple of years ago. Here is a link to it, and after briefly looking at it, it seems to be in the right price range. There are 2 hotels, and he stayed in number 2. (better location for everything).
You may want PM him to ask him for a first hand experience.

Looking forward to reports and of course, noti pics.

Posts: 2533Gamahucher, I just got back here a couple of days ago, and yes, Bali is busting at the seams.
However, bear in mind this is August, the height of high season. Euro trash everywhere, all trying to look cool. By october, the place will have quietened down a lot, and things will be somewhat mellow again.
I used to pay 10,000 for a beach chair all day in front of Zanzibar, it is now 25,000, but my "beach dude" told me he will be dropping his prices again, as soon as September arrives.
If Jaimito Cartero is reading this, can you remember the name of the little hotel I suggested to you a couple of years ago in Sanur, and do you have a contact for them? The place would probably be great for Gamahucher, and won't break the bank. 200m from the X houses, and it has a pool.

Many thanks Prof and Robert for some useful info and advice.
For Prof New Dad-to-be - Guess you will have your hands full of other things to have much time for mongering for some time post mid-Oct.
Robert - Reckon I'd better get busy online booking a hotel if things are hotting up like you say.
Would 300-400T/600T be a fair ball park figure for take out ST/LT?
Cheers GH

The booking agents online, or in the newspaper are ripoffs. Very expensive and basicly the same thing you can find in most houses.
There are a few bars in Sanur that have take outs. You can find that info in the fourm. Most houses are for ST only but, money talks and bullshit walks so
talk with the boss if you find a honey you want to take back to the Hotel, go for it.
I have been informed by my GF in Bali that the hotels are packed. That means higher prices and not the best service. She tried to book some visitors
in a hotel in Ubud and the owner of the hotel would not offer her a commission. He told her that Bali is back and he is not giving commission to booking agents.
Expect to pay a little more for all services. I will be there next week, so I can get a feel of the change in the attitude of the Balinese. But from what I have heard is that "Bali is Back" and the place is full, and prices are way up.

On the other hand, I've never insisted on the girl using a condom for oral sex, as I much prefer a BBBJ. Occasionally an Indonesian girl will use a condom for a bj, but that's fairly rare in my experience.
Look forward to reading your trip report!

Hello fellow mongers,
Will be visiting Bali in mid-October (2nd visit but 1st was in mid-90’s so might as well be virgin visit) so have started RTTF. Just a couple of question for the expert members of the forum.
1.Been assessing the relative merits of Kuta and Sanur, and as I’m no longer a big night owl/party person, so come to the conclusion that Sanur might be the best bet for me. But prefer my action to take place in the comfort of my room and it seems that a lot of Sanur action is brothel based. Is there a freelance scene or is takeouts from the x houses the way to go? Will that be problematical? How much would takeout be ST/LT? Are the girls health checked or is it a case of cover up for everything?
2.Seem to recall a website that offered girl/accommodation packages. Anyone any idea and are they worthwhile or a rip off?
3.Any recommendations for a GF hotel in Sanur, fairly close to the action and also near the beach? Looking at about $30-50 a night?
4.Are most girls photo friendly or do you have to pay extra? Would, of course, like a pictorial record of the mongering part of my visit to share with my ISG buddies.
Many thanks in anticipation for any info offered and would love to meet up for beer with any fellow members in town 16-21 Oct.
Cheers GH
