Only two days left to contract gonnoreah and have my heart smeared around the inside of my ribcage. (A busted latex in Sanur means I'll have one foot off the jet and one foot in the clinic as soon as I get back home) This trip has been a wild, wild ride and I am looking like finishing it almost where I began. With the same girl. The same conundrums. Loads of meaningless sex with occasionally gorgeous women. Blessed and cursed at the same time. At least I have learnt about the GFE. Understand that any ongoing commitment here = $. The absence of bucks in this culture equates to an absence of love which equates to an absence of girlfriend. So pay up! One guy, tired of the local freelance scene found himself a Balinese honey; thinking this would guarantee fidelity and a meaningful time. He now supports her family. She has a big family- costs him around 200 bucks a week but she will fuck him at the click of his fingers and probably won't run off on him. The Kampung is king. All (most of) the girls have family back in the village and they rarely know what the girls are up to. But. They all take the money and don't ask too many questions. This is where your hard earned is going. After the mandatory new mobile, a few nice pairs of shoes, a skimpy bikini and some bling. So before you embark on something here, harden your heart and fortify your bank balance. You can have the best time of your life and the worst. You can fuck many girls senseless and/or one girl with style, grace and dignity. I havn't managed to demonstrate much of the above but intend to; perhaps as soon as my next trip. Stay the #$$#%$ out of love if you know what is good for you. I don't!

Sorry 1ball but I will be gone by the time you get here. Only a few days left; madly trying to line up some business so I can get back here soon and the taxman can pay for it. I went to the original Kutar Bugar yesterday and had a a nice time with a very sexy little minx. All the girls seem to want 100k minimum for extras which is fine but that makes the fee 150k all up. Where is the Kuta Bugar on Sunset Road? Is it near Carrefour and on the same side of the road as Carrefour and anyone you recommend who gives you VIP treatment? Does it have the usual guys hanging around the front door as this is a big problem in Sanur? Anybody had any luck mongering in the Carrefour mall? Thanks in advance for your advise.

Kuta Bugar - Sunset is just after Jl. Nakula on the left hand side. It is literally the first set of buildings after Nakula... Very rarely see many people hanging around.

Mongering may be possible in Carrefour, but I personally wouldnt as I am a local and they all tend to have long memories, I can say though have walked through many times and had the smile and eye contact... Give it a try what have you got to lose?

I will be mongering again next week after tuesday for a couple of weeks so if anyone is in town and wants to catch up then PM me...

The bumps and the bruises on the mend and have even helped me get a little mercy from the local girls though asking for the handicapped rate hasn't translated as well as I would have liked. Met up with the good Prof. the other day and got some of the fat and the skinny on the local scene. Also got to meet his lovely girl; the man need never monger again - simply gorgeous. Have been having a fun time over here; helping a mate out with some local "conquests" and taking solace at the hands of the girls of Kuta Bugar. Go to the one on sunset rd rather than the one up near Balinese; much newer and cleaner; the other one feels like a slum by contrast unless u r in the VIP room and with a co-operative girl. Have gone for 200k "complete" twice there; girls not entirely happy with the arrangement but when the fuck are they; they can always say "no" and I can always say "thanks for the memories' although not in Indonesian yet. Have done a little ST on the side with freelancers and periodic sorties to Sanur but think I must be a bit of a hybrid; ie. lack the commitment of the hardcore monger (too easily bored by the focus on transaction) and instead have a taste for the chase.

Tired of the cranky and familiar faces of the girls at Kuta Bugar (who know I won't tip them enough) and even more tired of the constant harping on about money and hardship of my 'one and only' soon to be 'one and lonely' I decide on a mid afternoon shuffle across to Sanur. M a lost sock over there really-just a vague recollection of a very ordinary map posted here some time ago. I avoid the cops, just (its like those guys can smell me coming) and the mid arvo kamikaze traffic and stumble into danau Poso, almost too exhausted for action anyway. Scoff down a drink then notice I have a flat on the scooter. No-one speaks english or even engrish as I scramble through the wallet for the scooter dude who speaks precisely none of the above. Have I been here too long I start to ask myself. I get a chick in the shop to explain the flat thru some elaborate charades and leave the bloody thing there so I can sniff out a mercy shag; I stumble down one of those innocuous little laneways and am encouraged by some x's after the numbers; I vaguely remember this meaning something. Get coaxed into 66x and lined up against some fishbowl glass. The guys enthusiastically point out a couple of the girls (no doubt they are on the payroll) so I ignore them and go for the honey in the corner. Absolute cracker-8. 5 19years old. Quickly into things- oh my god. That body. Get the BBBJ then settle into some missionary, beautiful face but I I want her from behind. Wow. %%%$# exquisite. It's my goddam birthday and this has been no way to spend it.

Shit! My girlfriend is standing behind me trying to read what I am writing. I thank the good lord for illiteracy.
