You know as a long timer here I find it funny that you have found it so hard to get the kind of services that you are wanting.

Let me say that in Balinese Massage, Kuta Bugar and Kuta Timor you should have had no problems at all... Unless you are expecting everything for nothing. The one thing I have found moreso in the past 6 to 12 months is that the girls are getting smarter... They know that if you are in there looking for extras then they will try and screw you with a high price first. Its as I always say a matter of negotiation. If she wont negotiate to a price you are happy with then pick another and try again... for the quibbling over a few US dollars it really amazes me that we all try and screw the girls for little, little money and then get offended when they say no. Don't get me wrong here I am just as at fault at times, as I will try very hard at times to get the super cheap price, but I do applaud a girl who holds to her guns and won't just give away her services.

As to girls in clubs well they are a completely different kettle of fish... They are all after as much as they can get out of you, if you are lucky enough to get a girl who will just want shopping then go for it, in the long run it is cheaper than paying 500,000 to 1,000,000rp and again it all comes to negotiation.

I no longer look at Bali for long term relationships, rather I have a girl at the moment who is from Jakarta... a non pro who has never asked me for a single thing.

My best suggestion is dont just go with the first piece of fluff thats walks by you... take your time and you will find some real honeys waiting to fleece you of whatever money you are willing to part with. 80% of the girls will work a little towards the game and 90% of them prefer a different guy every month or two weeks so that then they can tell you all you are thier favourite and only man and that they will be faithful to you (and the 7 other guys sending them money)

All in all its a game, just enjoy the hunt

If we start the discussion on what place is better than another one, every member has is own opinion and all are respectable opinions.

What I mean is that it's not worth it to take that discussion.

Personal past experiences are going to influence each one of us.

Some of us, in example myself, would never go to Surabaya or any other big city

If it was not for business. I hate big cities.

Bali is different and in my opinion life in Bali is fantastic and in all what Bali can offer.

Sorry to be so cynical, but having been in Surabaya and Jakarta many times, it's hard to see why you'd go to Bali looking for pussy when you could take 2/3 nights 'research' in a major city in Jawa, get some phone numbers and choose the best out of your 'conquests' (I say conquests but in reality they love being with you providing you treat them right and show them some respect).

They'll give you gfe, g for great, mostly won't ask for money, but, will expect a shopping trip!

Don't think the scene in Bali is as bad as I've said, there are some lovely girls out there.

It's been awhile since i was last there and saw some action.
Yes i went to the massage place mentioned in prev. reports, and said i'd been there before, (as recommended in prev. reports.)
Was surprised to be asked how much i'd paid by the papasan?/boss?
I said the isg forum amount and was shown to a room.
massage was ok, but it was just massage, not even a tease to make me want more,(unlike the Surabaya massage parlors!), wouldn't take off their top, no touching, just a general rubbing of nail catching, back hugging polyester was allowed!

I'm stuck in Nusa Dua at Westin which is a nice enough place. However it seems pretty dead in terms of action. Does anyone have any advise? Should I take the 30-40 min hike to Kuta? Should I make use of the escortservice that offers girls at a 120 USD for 3 hours? Are there any places around here? Would really appreciate your input.

Even in the lowest of the low-end places, it is customary to give a tip of at least 50,000 rupiah for decent service. Hey, that's under $6 US, not much money for us, and much-appreciated by the girl.

In regards to the pricing I personally have found that if you are in Sanur yes you can get a girl for 150.000, the quality is sometimes questionable or if you are lucky you are able to get a newbie who just doest know the game yet... they are really hard to find considering most of the girls from what I have been told from girls in the industry have been doing this since 13 - 14.

If you want longtime, you can do a couple of things, 1. negotiate with the girl and hope that she thinks that its worth her while to meet with you. 2. Negotiate with a boss and know that a girl only makes about 50.000 of that 750.000, 3. go into the Legian strip from about 10pm go to Paddys and negotiate with a girl. You will probably get a girl between 500.000 and 700.000 for a long time. Be warned they are ruthless and will try at first to only make it an hour for 500.000, again it is up to you.

The other alternative is go to Seminyak to Santa Fe, same deal with the girls.

If you are in the Sanur area, I suggest that you go meet a girl for the cheaper money, see if you guys click and then if you do ask her to meet you afterwards away from work. Either way it will be fun exploring and finding the right girl.

Bali is booming again with hot girls so take your time and see...

I am very interested to travel to Sanur this December. I am a little bit confused about the prices. I read 25 pages of this forum, but the price range seems to be from 150.000 to 750.000. I am mostly interested in longtime and dont want to pay more than 350.000 / night. Is this realistic? Is it true that in low season you have to pay only the half price?

I was at a conference in Nusa Dua, which is lovely in a gardeny sort of resort way, but dead dull for the monger. Unfortunately I had little opportunity to escape my colleagues. But one day we had two hours to ourselves. I rushed out of the resort, and was approached by one of the hotel drivers in his hotel van. We agreed to 150,000 RP for 2 hours of transport services. A bit much, frankly, but I thought a hotel driver would be safer for what I had in mind.

With some effort I explained that I wanted a girl. He took me to a massage place, but I wisely decided to ask up front if they had ‘special massages’ and the answer was no. So he took me to some place called Relax Massage, which was just down an ally behind a mini-mart of the bypass road. This is the road which leads out of Nusa Dua, just keep going straight and you’ll eventually see it on a sign on the right. You’ll pass the Yamaha place with the fuck-shop next door (described in another post), which I stopped in but rejected on account of the low quality of choice available.

Relax Massage is a brothel. Not particularly clean or nice. Basic. The mamasan was tough and would not go below 400 RP. I picked a girl from a book, she was a young Balinese girl of 20 with a birthmark on her face, which probably made her unmarriageable. Bad teeth too. She was a strange young thing but wasn’t too bad. Anyway last night around 10 pm I was going back to Kuta from Denpasar and before passing the Kerobokan Jail, 100mts on the right side. I saw a black window with a red writing (KARAOKE somehting) anb 2 really pretty young girls hanging around and smiling and asking to go in.

I was in my car and with a woman, so could not stop, buy they keep on smiling and waving at me.

These are what's known locally as 'cafes', very different from the Western definition of a 'cafe'. They can be spotted in that they usually have colorful lights out front. Local guys (usually) sit and have drinks with the girls there and are expected to buy the local girl a drink, though the drinks are not outragously marked up (lady drinks) as in Thailand and elsewhere, but are the normal cost of a drink. You're likely able to 'cop-a-feel', kiss and certainly not much more than that there. Though the girls are most always available after hours or another day for who knows what. Pricing depends on your skills as a negotiator, but keep in mind that these places are frequented by locals, where the price for a roll in the hay is usually about 50-100,000 and often for only 30,000. These 'cafes' are in just about every campung (village) throught out Bali. The girls will most likely speak very little to no English and are often scarred off by Westerners. I've seen two of these while exiting thru the back of Carefours.

Always remeber when negotiating that the average wage is $1-4 US dollars a day here.

This is new to me. I will also check this out with some local friends. I have seen the road and I have also noticed Bule surfers on bikes coming out of that road. This road links to the Jl. that is next to the river near the temple behind Tarita. I have heard about rumah ayam in that area for the locals, so it might be the same link.

Been a lurker for awhile but travel to Bali twice a year or more.

This trip I got lucky at Mbargo and picked up a japanese chick so I sorta missed the whole working girl scene. Must say it's a good change.

Anyhow I went to Kuta Sauna for a quick massage based on reviews here, just for the kicks when my nipponese girl was at work. I wasn't given a choice of girls. Perhaps the receptionist thought I looked too straight to want extras.
