If you missed them maybe it was too early (the didn't seem to show up until after 11 pm-midnight) or too late?

Kuta, tried Sky Garden for curiosity, it's an expensive 200 k to enter and it's all very slick with different levels and music. So there are options to be had in Bali, great for massage but the rest leaves a bit to be desired depending on your preference of course. I'm not going to rush back that's for sure but if travel tales me out this way again I would return for another 'cheap' trip.

After RTFF thought I would give my feedback on this short trip.

Bali takes a little getting use to but if you've travelled at all in SE Asia you'll find it a breeze. Easy to get around and for the most part a cheap destination and there are not many left now for those from the UK.

I approached Bali with a three pronged attack with varying degrees of success. Massage parlours, Bar girl FLs and dating apps Badoo & Tinder.

I'll start with my personal favorite massage places. Now Bali is packed with spas and massage places but if you want something extra you have to search them out, there's a few to choose from.

Sriya Spa in Denpasar. From what I've read this is similar to Riverview. You pick the package, then the girl (or girls) then head to a room. It's not easy to chose which package based on their description. However, my indecision seemed to work in my favor as this prompted a discounted offer. Finally was offered 800 k for 90 minutes with 1 girl, reduced from 950 k. 6 girls on offer and it was an easy choice as 1 girl was easily cuter than the others, petite Javanese called Moira (or close to this), turns out I chose well. Today I had the pleasure of visiting Village Arum Day Spa in Sanur for the first time. I had seen from other posters that this place existed, but just never got the vibe to go there, Now I wish I had earlier.

This little pace is pretty easy to find. At the top end of Sanur, on Jl. Danau Tandakan or Jl. Panti Sindu (depending on which map you look at) , close to the by-pass and right next door to the well known Kayu Manis restaurant.

I found this to be a great massage+ spa. The rooms pretty clean, and the VIP room I paid an extra 25 K for was very dark, but OK.
