Hey guys, I have transferred the photos from my phone to my mac, but am unable to post them, I believe its because of the size, I think only 360 kb is permitted and my photos are between 400 and 700 kb. I only have the standard mac software installed, nothing extra, and I'm unable to compress these photos, if anybody has a solution, please advise, or else I'll wait till I get home where I can access a PC. Wouldn't want to try the hotel PC / outside PC and possibly embarrass myself.

I'm sorry guys, I have been too busy this trip, planned to post everyday, but too much going on. Anyway in short,

I am supposed to go to Batam right on that days. Last time I went to Batam, it was beginning of Ramadan and I had to shift my stay one week, to avoid the 3 days of total closure of all bars and discos.

It seems I have a special radar detecting Islamic feasts. Whenever I plan a trip there, I hit one.

Any info about this from local regulars? I tried to ask someone in Batam, and I've got this reply:

"On 25 oct, KTV, pubs, disco, massages, all close for one night. Other day open as usual".

Scary news for me. Is this true?
