Ramadan will end on 10 April. The last 3-4 days of Ramadan are total closure of any entertainment. Even if such total closure will be on 7-8-9-10, I don't think it would be a good idea for a newbie to probe Batam just week before Eid al Fitr.

I have been back to Batam 2 times in the last 15 days, 3 N+4 N. Overall, we are getting back to Good. I am very happy I have returned here. Where are the booking joints?

All the places I have reported about in my past reports, dated several years ago before COVID, do not exist anymore. New ones come and go. However, the quality of booking girls has gone down. Older and more expensive. Your best bet will be to ask a taxi or ojek driver to take you to best places for booking (Sawar, Sri Candy, Memory, 28 "lapan dua", and others). Do not expect flashing girls there.
