Rob,
You will be please to know that Paciic is still Loud, Dark, Alive and Kickin'. Was ther in Sept and it is the only place where there is a bit of Music (DunDuk) and lots of attentive lively ladies.
I wish there where a few more places like this. I heard of Sphinx and Ozone. Ozone was to Smokry for me and seems to be less of the Lively ladies (Wonder why).

WS, please accept my apologies if the latest few posts posted in the Batam trend pertaining to queries on JB hotels have offended you in anyway. I did not intentionally "invade" the Batam trend with questions about another destination. I posted on this trend because I thought that the forum members on the Batam trend might be able to help me given many of the forum members are from Johor.
I had received several very generous feedback from the members (including yourself) here and from the bottom of my heart I am grateful.
Since my discussion on another destination here has offended some members, may I respectfully request Jackson (as the administrator of ISG) to remove my posts in Batam trend which touches on "hotel inquiries in JB (Johor)".
Once again my sincere apologies.
Cheers.

Thanks Betong. So Suria City is out!
Brothers out there if you know of any good budget hotel near Puteri Pacific Hotel JB would appreciate your suggestion. I apologize for putting this in the Batam forum as I know many brothers from Johor read this forum and was hoping for some kind assistance.
Cheers.

Betong, the reason I have to stay around there is that I have to attend a conference at Puteri Pacific Hotel. As such I thought I can stay somewhere within walking distance of the conference hotel whilst at the same time have some places to go for a walkabout in the mall. I would appreciete if you could recommend me some budget hotel nearby the conference hotel so that I may take a look. After the conference I will move over to Batam for some real fun. LOL.

I never put up at Suria City hotel before. Can't comment. But judging from below link, the map, you need to cross the main road where Merlin Tower is. In fact the hotel which I recommended you is just behind Merlin Tower. So the hotel which I put up nearer to P Pacific than Suria city.

I always thought that the "little dot" hide a very "horny & hungry lion". LOL.
BTW one generous member from Johor suggested I stayed at the Suria City Hotel which he said is very near to Puteri Pacific Hotel. Any opinion.
Cheers.
