First day I was somewhere near a smaller shopping mall (not the Nagoya Mall). Sorry, I forgot the name. Just found by accident while I explored Nagoya. They had about 20 ladies, most of them in the 8 out of 10 range, a few 9-10 and single 10* lady which I choosed. Price depends on woman and started at 400k. Either I was not smart enough to bargain or there was an inflation in the meantime.

Bro DS,

Foremost I am not in anyway close to the knowledge possessed by the experts of the Batam mongering scene. I just shared whatever information I have.

(1) If this is your first time to Batam, I would suggest that you consider staying at Formosa Hotel (about Rp330k / night for weekday, Rp380k / night for weekend). This hotel is located right in the center of several ktvs (brothels) namely Queen, Dynasty, Berry Indah to name just a few. Also if you are into karaoke (singing) Formosa have a nice place called Alisan (where you can also book the GROs)

(2) Harmoni is good as it is located in the pub zone (known locally as Kampung Bule). These are the pubs frequented by ex-pat working in the oil & gas industry. Its a good location for a drink or two with your mates and to play some pool. The ladies there (generally MILF) liking of you will depend very much on chemistry.

(3) Please note that if you are booking from the ktvs, it is for LT. You can go for ST at the KTV's premise (as they have rooms upstairs) where the girls can give you a light massage and FS. For the LT and ST prices, please refer to my earlier posting.

(4) Backdoor service will depend on the chemistry between you and the girl (s). In general the younger girls (18-22yo) might be reluctant unless you are very "ganteng" and she is hoping for a long-term relationship with you. If you are into back-door you might have a better chance with ladies in their late 20s onwards. Like in any thing else, if you do not ask you will never know.

(5) If you are into the "sport of fishing" for your bed companion, you can patronize the discos for FL. I would like to highlight to you that if you are not careful, FL can be very dangerous as you might be con or lead into a scam (possibly involving police). For me I rather get my girls from the brothels as you know where they are based and should any unfortunate incidents happened (such as your money being stolen in the middle of the night by the girl (s) , which I must say have never happened to me) you have a place to go to seek ratification.

(1) English is generally not spoken amongst the general population except for pubs / bar / massage parlors that cater for ex-pat. These are generally clustered in the area surrounding Hotel Harmoni, Goodway and Panaroma. Another area where you can get English speaking massage ladies might be the few massage parlors opposite Nagoya Hills shopping mall.

(2) Batam is generally a market that caters for the tourists from Singapore and Malaysia who goes there on the weekend for a well deserved break. In general these tourists can either speak Bahasa Indonesia or Malaysia, Mandarin or Hokkien as such communication for them is not a problem.

(3) If you patronized the pubs located behind Hotel Harmoni which caters for the ex-pat crowd your chances of finding girls who can speak passable or good English is high.

(4) As far as I know the girls in Batam can be categorized into three main types:

(a) the young and relatively naive girls from the more isolated areas of Indonesia coming to Batam to make a living through prostitution. These girls will normally cater to the well-off Gentlemen from Singapore or Malaysia due to ease of communication or are "reserved" by these gentlemen. You can find them normally at the various KTVs (aka brothels) in town

(be) the factory girls who comes out on occasion to make extra money. These can normally be found in the disco. Some of them can speak passable English but you need to hunt at the Disco; and.

(see) the girls working at the massage parlors and pubs around town. They are normally above 30 yo (with some exception in massage parlors). These ladies could have worked in other bigger Cities such as Jakarta, Surabaya and Bandung before shifting over to Batam due to age. Amongst this group you have a higher chance of finding ladies who speaks passable or good English.
