    Back to Batam Ep. 1

after my monster series of reports of feb 2011:
    http://www.internationalsexguide.inf...=1#post1140297
i came back to batam one more time in may. another incredible experience, lining disappointing events with unforgettable meetings.

unfortunately, pressed by the memory of the details provided in the feb series, i delayed day by day and then i never wrote a report.
this time, i try a different approach. i will try to write quick notes day by day. this is more for myself, to help my memory.

in ramadan, massage joints will be closed daytime, but will open later (6-9 for example). bb banana will open 6 and close 3am instead of 1am.

i came on saturday. i even did not bother to visit joints. saturday is the best day for discos and pubs (fls!).

    noname

i waited patiently and i went to noname at 1am. very wise strategy!
very nice girls having fun. some pro, some girl with friend who would not consider to go with a bule (at least in front of regular friends) , some lonely girls.
i have been lucky. the best looking girl (my opinion, of course) was alone and outstanding all others by her sweet smile and big eyes. sexy as hell with her short black dress. she promptly welcomed me to dance and have fun with me. actually, i was initially cooled down by the perception that she was a pro asking 800k to the bule every sat, but she was not.
we went back to my room at 4am. she was totally drunk but woke up when i finished undressing her.
a very nice girl (25+ looking 20 by european standards) , who works in a shop where many tourist pass (i will not tell where). i guess one of the girls i dream about when i pass in front of shops and i peek inside and they smile to me. we slept holding each other in arms very tightly.
a final touch: no money asked before and after. considered she earns very little money, when she left this morning i offered her some 100ks from my pocket for the taxi etc. she did not say no.

    massage joints
full tour on sunday afternoon at 4pm. few girls and less attractive than those i remember from yesterday night.
how to accept to pay 500k when i can try to have one 10 times better for (almost) free?
i booked one for 400k for a session at my hotel room, just to spend the time till dinner. tomorrow morning is monday. many girls will be available, because singaporeans are back home.

    plans
i went meeting the gem i met in may (sorry no report). a true jewel who was waiting some bule at newton. we kept exchanging messages in these 2 months.
now she stopped working in disco and she has a regular job in a smoky gamble room out of nagoya. i went there to see her and she was like a diamond in the rough.
we will go to newton tonight.

ah, of course i cannot leave the girl from noname. tomorrow she has day off. we'll go to some beach or barelang.

    final notes
there is a group of sikh playing our hobby in batam!
i have seen a couple of them yesterday in some club. today, one of them going back to the hotel with a very yummy cewek from some massage joint (you know the type: short pants, white t-shirt, dark skin, deep black eyes and yummy lips).

BP and GE, I do have a general understanding of the topic "get foreign currency somewhere outside your home". .

Now, sometimes we find ourselves with cash that for some reason need to remain as cash, until they are spent. But I will just do it the old fashioned way and walk into a bank.

In Davao you get better rates with the Muslims than any bank, so for anyone systematically handling cash (preferably USD) , I would recommend to at least consider options to the banks sometimes. It will pay off eventually. The best I got was about twice the official rate, but this was in dollar strapped Venezuela. Quite nice when everything is half the price. We would even maximize the 10K USD limit you are allowed to carry, have a one week vacation and then go home and exchange based on official rate. One week free vacation sipping Mohitos AND you make a few thousand dollars profit on the trip. Stopped being fun when the drug squad took me and I had to bribe my way out. This is extreme due to Chavez dollar restraint, but some 10-20% can be achieved many times, without any additional effort or safety loss compared to going to the bank.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

    BR Barba

I agree with Black Page, and using an ATM card is advice I give to all of those who come to the Philippines debating whether or not to bring wads of dollars or euros. The rates and costs are consistently lower.

I have seen the second count scam warnings, so I assume the cash exchanges is one option for buying local money.

As I wrote many times (but maybe not in the Batam forum) , the best way to get local currency, anywhere in the world, is ATM with a debit card. This is true also in Batam: better exchange rate, lower fees.
I never travel with much cash. I always use my Maestro.
I may only recommend you to go to ask banks and compare rates, avoiding hotels, but this should not sound new to you.

Dude, most WGs I know, they told me they are prepared to settle down for good. They are into flesh trade reasons pretty obvious ya. Incidentally currently I have one too. Indroduce by my regular driver. She's only 16 yrs old, fm JogJkt. May have to make a maiden trip there after Ramadhan to "probe" further.

Believe it or not, I was thinking right about this today (I'm in my home sex prison town in Europe): the girl gets a fixed amount, regardless what you pay. You know I always bargained with the OKT, taking the 1J girls for 900k, 800k or even less one time (but I spent several jutas in that place overall).

I am so sorry I did not write my duly report after my last stay in Batam (May). I stood there 5 days and my experience was not less rewarding and rich of memories than my visit of February (this reported extensively with the series of 6 reports).

Of all my adventures, I may say only this. I met a wonderful SYT in Newton disco (the only one apparently in that shithole), from Jawa, accompanied by two well experienced older girls. She was looking a little baby, but she is 19. Instead of the usual "I can take care of you?" from her, I got a "will you take care of her?" from the friends.

She did not ask some money, but she said "it's up to you".

I spent the night with her and I also took her for shopping at Nagoya Hill the day after (200k long dress). She is a dream. After 2 months, I keep on looking her photos.

And, most surprisingly, she keeps on sending me messages on my (European) cell phone, every 2-3 days or so! She wants me to call her!

Not what you'd expect from a WG.

    In Batam during Ramadhan.

    Hi,

I happened to be in Batam once during Ramadhan. I am a M'sian, so language no problem. I stayed in Furama. The Msg Center in hotel is still open by the back door. You can use yr room phone to call msg girl to yr room. Need to describe yr taste to the captain. Alternatively U can call the captain to yr room for a drink and start yr conversation. I had a known taxi driver (Edi, Blue Taxi) , he took me to the dents, always by the back door. The girls do not parade, but still can get. He knows where to get. He will go first and check it out before he calls me.

After 7pm the situation is better, but not like the normal days. Still can enjoy but limited. After 7pm you can get phone #s or make arrangements with the girls in the bar, to visit U in yr room the same night or next day. The price is in the above average range. No lunch / dinner in open restaurants, no holding hands & walking in public. All in yr room. Most of the Hotels are save, just tip the duty manager, & he will take care. You can also source from him. Tell him you would want a cewek and yr taste. He can get two / three to yr room and U do yr choosing. So it would not be like a dessert.

I still agree, we should avoid the Ramadhan month, also respect their religious rituals. But sometimes we clash, sorry no choice and make the best use of the time there.

    Hope this helps.

    1. Where to get the girls? It is all aquariums are close or I still can find some places which still available? Any recommended place?

    2. Massage center also close during ramadam?

    3. What is the suitable time to get girls during ramadam?

This is my second time to Batam and the 1st time was many years ago. I only realized that batam has no fun during ramadam after I read the forum.

Since my time schedule and flight ticket cannot be change, can anyone tell more about his experiences during ramadam?

    Many thanks.

Everything I know about the place I learned from your excellent posts. I assume, since they were recent, that the prices will be about the same as you reported.

One thing that might be obvious or that I might have overseen though; for some reason I am sitting on a bunch of US dollars that needs to be spent. I am sure there are plenty of females that will offer assistance but is there any particular practice as of where to exchange these USD best? Will the rates fluctuate, depending and where and when I exchange?

Thank you in advance and pardon me if I missed this while reading the ROD-section.

Thanks for advise. This is lesson learnt for me and I will plan my next trip wisely.

Actually the trip is planned 2 months ago and the date of the trip is simply choose. I don't know there is no fun during Ramadhan period in Batam.

Since the date and flight cannot be change, so I still go on and try to get more information during Ramadhan.
Maybe you can just pop over to Singapore and Geylang if you are bored?

The boat is 45 minutes and seems to run hourly.
