Thanks Black Page. You are correct, I don't know how to read, so thanks for helping us out.

Go to a spa (search and you will find a few ones, for example Octapus at Pacific). You will be presented a line up of girls from average to stunny. Warning: service there is standard, and without a tip you might not get BBBJ, but all covered. As in Geylang, SOP and just SOP. No surprises.

If you have time or want to play roulette, go to a lower-end massage place behind Utama. You cannot choose, but a random girl will appear for massage and then it's all up to your bargaining ability. No ability leads to big money for just a HJ. Expert ones may get FS for 500 k, and from a SYT.

Finally, all booking places are open since morning. So, why don't you go first to a hotel to have a room, then go around for shopping a girl visiting some joints, then go spend the rest of your time in the room with your girl.

All this sounds new? Read here, and you'll discover.

Poor one! It seems you really did not get to know your way in Batam. Do not confuse lack of hunting ability with lack of game to hunt..

Thanks Black Page, will do that. I try to re-visit this thread regularly to keep up with developments.

So still within a reasonable range.

That's a great deal andpretty much in line with (or bit less) than what I pay in AC or Pattaya discos.

Read my past posts in this thread and you'll get a full overview. I linked some in the past years also in the RoD, when I was taking the time to write day-by-day stories.

Batam is Paradise for me, and Geylang just the pale shadow of the old times. Nothing interesting there anymore.

    Why don't you read?

Nowadays it is probably Square for high-level, and Newton or P3 for wild hunting. Warning: do not go to disco if you are not used to that. You might get in danger, or at least back here even more convinced than the guy above that Batam is a shit-hole.

Thanks for the advises. Good to know. Maybe you are right. Better to stay in Geylang.

What about JB? Do you have any experience with Johor Bahru in Malaysia? Just looking for some adventure. But not sure what is there.

Thanks for getting back to me BJtemp.

I did RTFF, but couldn't find any information about day time hunting!

    Thanks you.

No Name is closed, after a couple of years of slow starving. It was emptier and emptier, nothing like the heaven of the glorious days.

Square is the best place now, but it is at Penuin. See my reports.

Other places at NED are more or less the same as before: it's good if you want to stay with girls who speak English, drink beers, play pool maybe. Girls are mostly old veterans, and they are not all necessarily available for the night. However, YMMV. Best place is maybe FourPlay, but I would suggest to go around, enter in many bars, drink beers (they are cheap), before settling in one place.

As you understand, NED is not my favourite place in Batam for the night.

    Kampung bule 1 these days

Looks like I will be back in SEA again soon. After a quick trip to the other sude of the planet where it truly is a mongers paradise or nightmare depending how long you are in the one place.

Has anyone got info on what the ned scene is like these days. Black page any advice.

Been gone a fcouple of years but the loins are straining at the thought of nice indo girls.

    Thanks in advance.

Reading 12 pages took you the same time I am spending to reply you. Is your time more valuable? What about reading (scrolling) 50 pages? There is also the RoD.

Reading makes you learn what others did, their mistakes, their achievements, WHAT QUESTIONS TO ASK.

"Soapie" means "there is soap". No soapy massage in Batam. Places with girls are paraded are "booking joints" here. So many reports here about booking joints. If you read you'll learn what is different: nothing like what you found in Thailand is in Batam. You did not read, and you ask this question.

You will be severely disappointed then. To say the least, it is outdated. Even moving the time machine to 5 years go, I would say that no more than 50% of what is written there corresponds to the field.
To say one: photos are deceiving.
Second: the list of places is not complete, and some have been closed for years already.
Oh then also: the map is useless.
This is ridiculous: there are no "burkas" in Batam. Batam is not Kabul.
Last but not least: it mixes apples with oranges. "Pacific Discotheque - Its a happening club in the weekends located"?? ROFL. It's closed, but this guy has no idea of what an Indo disco is. Square is not a KTV. Now I hope you don't expect me to spend more of my time to debunk a web page of a guy who pretends to be Lonely Planet.

This will be my last word: RTFF. Scroll pages back until 2015 or 2010. LOT of information here in this thread. Take notes and be prepared to be disappointed anyway. This is not BKK. It is not for everyone. It is not easy. Good luck.

    Booking name Changes

    Hi Blanquinceleste,

I found an excellent post by you from a couple of years ago with names of some booking places.

One was Sri Kandy, I tried looking on Google maps but nothing came up. Is it still in business or changed its name.

You mentioned Happy8 is this the same as JV Happy 8 on Jl Komp. Business Centre and Bunga on Jl Komp Dian Centre?

Do these places provide ST in-house like Octopuss.
