been to JKT last weekend, but nothing much to report. Stayed the first 2 nights with my favorite regular. One afternoon through the bars in Kota, nice but not sensational. One evening in 30, but almost empty, most likely because of the muslim new year. Unfortunately I couldn't discover anything new.
But JKT has become pretty expensive in the past 1-2 years, isn't it? Or is it normal inflation?

Brandon88 - hopefully you'll find your way back somehow. I've stayed at 2 Ibis' near Sarinah and they were fine cleanliness-wise but small. They were very cheap. In fact I didn't stay overnight, I just used them to take back girls I picked up in Atrium who were so urchin-like, even I didn't feel like going back to Le Meridien with them. And believe me, that tells you a lot!! The service seems good. On one occassion I arrive with a girl and no condoms but I gave the doorman 50k as I walked in and within seconds he was at my door with a packet of 3.

If you are charging your hotel and can't justify two rooms at different hotels on the same night (not easy on the face of it), when you check out, ask for a receipt marked "meeting room" or "conference room", then you can say you took clients there for a meeting as there wasn't a room at the hotel you are staying at. The will be no audit trail (NB accountants).

M., if you're Malaysian, you'll probably speak the lingo, or at least understand some of it, which will make things quite easy and convenient for you... Just walk over to any girl you fancy and have a nice chat to her, you'll be surprised how simple it is. If any, stick fear of rejection somewhere no one can see it, in my experience most girls are well aware of the game around them - if they're not into it themselves.. have a great stay, cheers.

I stayed at the Ibis Mangga Dua for a couple of nights in 2003. From what I remember the room was not that big but it was very new and clean with modern facilities. Good value at the time.

XXL is right that Ibis has its own massage girls. I once stayed in the Ibis in Jl Wahid Hasyim (wouldn't recommend it - tiny tiny rooms) and after I had settled in I received a phone call asking me if I wanted "anything extra in my room". I was very tempted but at the time I had to go out to meet clients, so I didn't avail myself of the "extra services" but it was quite clear what was being offered.

Ibis is part of the Accor group so minimal quality is guaranteed. Ibis is one star below Mercure. Ibis has its own masseuses because I remember enquiring once in Mercure about one of my favourite masseuses and I was told she had been transferred to Ibis.

Also, that hotel is very close to Komplex Kota Indah (Pangeran Jayakarta) for girls.

Just got back from a few weeks in Jakarta (wish I could live there for a while)

Went to a hotel just north of Harmoni in Jl Gaja Mada directly opposite Dunkin Donuts. Hotel name was Malborough I think.

The Hotel has a spa on the ground floor and on the second level is a very modern bar where one goes after a spa or you can go directly there if you wish. The place is full of girls with several momasons. Prices start with local girls Rp350,000 (about 20 years old) including short term room (1 hour), then Rp500,00 - Rp1,000,000 for the very attractive Indonesian then Rp1,500,000 for Chinese, Taiwan, Vietnam or Russian girls.

Every night there are sexy Indonesian dancers that strip off and dance topless on the bartops. 9.30pm and 11.00pm - 30min shows.

You sit at your well lit table and the momasons will bring around different groups of girls you can choose from.

I am a MALAYsian but had made numerous trips to JKT for the wonderful golf courses you guys have. Had a few escapades with the lovely caddies but nothin to shout about. Basically, it will cost you around 500-800k for an all nighter and they'd probably want to hang around the next day (for free food and some light shopping). I'd say value for money but since we play golf everyday, how many times can you go, right.

The Mall hunting sounds very interesting and had RTFF on Atrium and will be staying at OAsis Amir next week. Any advice for us newbies? much appreciated..

We'd usually go to Stadium for our quick fix since it is relatively cheap and convenient. Had a mommy named EMA on the disco floor who can be coaxed to coming back after she finishes work for FOC. Be ready to open the door at 4.30 am though. The girls are less memorable (name wise that is) but mostly ok.

Last week tried Klassik Spa at hotel Classic and found the selections are quite extrordinary. The package starts at Rp550 (Massage, BM and ML) and 750 for the freelancers (Sinetron type girls also available, to my eyes, that is). Had a 38DD package named IN IN which gave one hell of BM with her soft DDs. very accomodating and allowed seconds if you can (extra Rp50k).

Any other similar joint that i can sample? will try to provide FR once done.

All the discussion about whether such and such price is a rip-off or not only reinforces my conclusion that there are many similar options available in Jakarta at very different prices. So much depends on opportunity, place, time, context and luck. That's why this forum is so popular!

A beautiful stunner you pick up at BATS can be a total dud fuck and charge you a fortune. While an average looking ayam kampung picked up at Atrium and fucked in your apartment could be a sex toy you wet dream about for the rest of your life. And the cost is hardly more than small change.

But some mongers want the comfort and experience of a KTV and could be bothered with the hassle and uncertain outcome of the mall scene. And if you don't have much time on your hands and you have to accompany your client, your options are limited.

As a long term resident in Jakarta, it's great to have the luxury to explore the scene as a hobby. Personally I avoid the KTV/ Five Star disco/ hotel scene because for me it's not so interesting, is too bule-dominated, and produces mediocre results for high price. In my opinion the best options are available in Kota and sometimes in Blok M. And I'm getting into the ayam in the mall scene a bit more. And building up a "database" of hp numbers.... But it's taken time to learn the lessons from my mistakes.

But my main "problem" is that I don't have enough time time and semen left after fucking the girlies I fuck "for free" after making connections on websites and chat sites. But as per previous discussions, "freebies" are rarely actually free.

It all just goes to show that Jakarta is a wonderland. It's a fairy realm of available women who just want to fuck, sometimes for money, sometimes for the status and excitement of fucking a bule with dinner/disco on the side, sometimes just because they're horny fuck-bunnies.

If only there were a few dance-in-the-nude Bangkok girlie bars and the odd BJ bar, the place would be absolute fucking perfection.....

Finally RTFF (a little bored tonight). Have to say that the search function is really very effective. In that you don't get a bunch of non-related topics (maybe picked up some tips from google? ). Not much info on Nikko hotel, but plenty on PI and on KTVs in general.

Regarding KTVs, is it required to know the mommie in advance? More accustomed to HK, Taiwan, China. And knowing the mommie is usually good advice. Ie. Would it be safe to just walk into one of the KTVs mentioned and have a mommie assigned to you at random? I've generally stuck to KTVs which I already knew the mommie or a trusted friend knew one.

Looking forward to my next trip to Jakarta, though not sure when that will be.
