Well I went to kelapa gading last night. Started out at the kings cross. I did feel slightly uncomfortable being the only bule there. Next time I go with wingman. The girls reaction told me that bule does not often go there. Initial reactions, facial expressions let you know real quick. Of course until you say Hello, you should not interpret anything from indo gals first look, as they can start to "glow" real quick when you fumble with your inaudible nonsense bahasa. Did I get a fair shake here? Went up the nextdoor gang to mutiara 2, which was a slight dissappointment. The large Bali hai that tastes like dog-bowl water was 47k. The receipt also has bule written on it, which causes me to think I was charged differently. I was here 5 months ago and found girl to my liking so visits here can be different. I came here 5 days ago from Bali read 5 pages of forums here (the most recent) and showed nothing for my homework. Why people love to write over and over again about top gun bats cj's is beyond me. Wondering how much homework (how far back) I have to go to find any real intel on alternative venues. I've read reports on Classic in this forum and in two others and have never heard of that being an issue.

Classic and travel are sofa brothels. So what is the difference between the two. Well classic requires you to pay 270k before you take girl to room, a significant cause of ikan dingin (cold fish) in some girls. Travel hotel you pay after. I'd be interested to hear if this is a non-issue at classic or a factor in some bad experiences. This is a bad policy of classic's, its like they had some dine and ditches if you know what I mean

Apologies to all those who contacted me about the girl in the mall to whom I didn't reply. But I did say only ask me if you are a REGULAR and not wishing to be rude but those with 0 posts are not really regulars in my book. My favorite mall is Plaza Indonesia and that's all I'm giving away in this case. If anyone wants to find a girl in a mall it's not hard to do.

As I said, that has been my experience.

What I realized I should have mentioned is that while security can be there for your benefit (imagine if you get drunk and pass out and she steals everything not locked up) walking the girls past security also protects the girls from security extorting cash from them.

One time I had a freebie who let herself out at 5am, I was drunk / jetlagged and didn't even realize she was leaving, later she told me that she got hassled big time by security who thought she was a pro. While she wouldn't tell me exact details, she just kept saying "security big problem" over and over.

Before the trouble the freebie had, I have sent some working girls out of my room with a note to show security with just my room number on it, so they can call me, but I realized later that that would not stop security taking cash off them.

So now I always offer to walk them past security at the elevators, that seems to be the safe point for them at my hotel of choice and is not much trouble for me to do.

Few years ago a the Sari Pan, I turned a ST loose around 3am. Was watching TV after, about to doze off. Almost 4am, a knock on the door. Two security guys and the ST girl. One of the guys had his hand clutching her upper arm. She looked terrified, was breathing hard.

Security: She say she was with you. Yes?

Me: yes.

Security: We find her walking on floor 4 (I was on floor 14). How long she been gone?

Me: almost one hour.

Security: you want her go now? Stay?

Me: let her come in for a bit.

Security: you sure sir?

Me: ya.

They left her with me. She had fingerprint marks on her arm where the guy was strong-arming her. I don't think they were shaking her down, I think they just found ayam wandering the halls, possibly she had trouble remembering what room number she was in. I had her sit on the bed and calm down. Then I walked her out the door to get a taksi.

I almost always walk the girl out the front door and peck her on the cheek. Lets the door guys know she might be my gf, and not to hassle her thereafter. If you're not in the mood to leave the room with her, you can ring "0" for the front desk: "My gf is leaving. See to it she gets a taxi home." Also, if staying for more than one day, I tip the door guy in the day shift and the door guy in the night shift on my first day. They become your friends for life, and don't hassle anyone who is with you.

I do maintain an apartment in Jakarta but I do not like to take the ayam back to my building as it can be worse than the walk of shame to the 6th floor Melawai. While I am registered with immigration with my apartments address. If I check into a hotel in jakarta or anywhere in indonesia will this show up on my immigration records. Since the girlfriend handles my immigration documents this could pose a problem. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

When any male walks into Melawai and heads straight for the elevator it usually means he is on his way to Maribaya.

Nobody pays any attention since it happens many times a day. So any walk of shame is purely between your ears.

I have been to Maribaya many times and it was not unusual to have an Indonesian step into the elevator with me

And ask politely "Lantai enam?" ("6th floor?"). The button for the 6th floor is also much more worn than the others

And has a little sign "Maribaya" next to it.

the point was made about taking girls back down again and whilst i don't disagree with ceegee's point, i don't think it's absolutely essential and some girls prefer to go down alone anyway. the main thing is to make sure that security and doormen know you (clue: tip) and that eases the way and stops them from ripping the girl off when she goes out. another thing: you can always get two keys made and if you meet a girl in the club (eg 30 bar) you can go up first (make sure you do!) and then she can follow you if you have work colleagues around who don't share the same interests (or pretend not to). obviously, make sure you get the key from her afterwards! if for whatever reason you don't get the key back just get new ones.

Actually this is standard practice in Jakarta from my experience. Think about it for a second. Security does it for your benefit so you don't get ripped off. Stop complaining, throw some clothes on and walk the young lass past security, it will only take you a couple of minutes. Once she is past security, typically at the elevators but every hotel is different, she is free and clear.

Did not realise it was standard practice. If it was I would have done so.

hello, guys, about two weeks ago i was in jakarta and thanks to information i have gathered here i had a great time. now i want to give my little contribution that i hope will be helpful for some of you. the first night, at about 10 pm, i went to the tg in the famous block m. excellent men-women ratio, almost 1:3. as soon as i arrived, i looked around and my eye fell upon a beautiful girl. after a few seconds i approached her and we started joking and talking amicably. after a while, 'she began to put in all her ugly girl friends. her understanding was that i picked one of them but i was not interested about this. after about half an hour in which she invited me to chat with one of her friends, she told me she was married to a foreigner men (she showed me her marriage ring) and then she was not looking for a man. i simply replied that i was not jealous of her husband and that i was not even there to look for a man. she laughed a lot and we continued to laugh and drink some drinks. after an hour i told her i was tired and it was time to go. kindly invited her to come with me to my hotel and she followed me with a smile. no discussion about money or anything else. the night was very good, she is a lovely girl, and very funny, especially when her husband phoned and she made the sign to remain silent but it was not easy because i was behind her in doggy position. in the morning, other runs, and then, before leaving she asked me some money for the taxi. using information gathered here, i gave her 300 krupees, she took them smiling, and asking me my mobile number and left happily. moral of the story: i think you can find different categories of women in tg, professional women, who generally seek to obtain from us the most money with minimum effort, but also married women who are not only necessarily in need of money. anyway if they visit blok m, they appreciate to get some more money and also find someone to replace her husband during the night. so look to the ring, maybe it's more fun and could cost less.

please do not ask me anything about her, is married to an european man and he could be a reader of this forum hence.

had a business trip to jakarta and my first ever trip to indonesia. i started with reading the forum well before my trip.

i was staying at le meridien so i decided to checked out the resident bar, tiga puluh but found nothing initially. it was about 8:30pm. i asked the security guy when it would get busy, he told me about 11pm. so i progress to walk to bats. i could have taken a cab but i wanted to see a small mall, citywalk in between. it took about 20mins to walk. i was walking along jln kyai haki mas mansyur and saw quite a massage place across the road. i could not be bothered crossing the busy street to check it out, but would not mind confirmation from any members here who has been there.

at bats there was a cover charge of r110k (about usd15) which included a drink and i thought was ok to pay, until he wanted me to select a drink right away. i didn't know what i wanted to drink nor did i want a drink right away, so i left and took a cab back for about r20k.

caught up with some work then i decided to head down to tiga puluh again, by this time it was 11pm. i was also pretty tired but my curious mongering instinct overcame my exhaustion. i thought if there was nothing i could always head back to bats.

initially i was disappointed, until i realised the bar extended beyond the pool table. there was a girl playing pool and she smiled at me and gave me good vibes. beyond the doors (which i thought had led to the toilet) was actually the bar.

a good band was playing but it was too loud, so i went back up to my room to get some earplugs and returned. there were 4 girls on my left. 1 was already talking to another monger. 3 was in front dancing to the band (i am still trying to figure out if they were friends of the band or also working). there were 2 girls to my rear. possibly half a dozen to my right but it was too dark and i did not venture past that point.

i singled out a hot slim petite girl. another fl was was hitting on me and quite friendly to most of the girls. she was quite chatty, so i asked her if she knew who she was but she didn't, but went to talk to her on my behalf anyway, she did not seem interested in the other punters around but hot slim petite girl came over to me. she spoke very little english, i got straight to the point and she wanted r1. 8m. i thought i read here that pricing was about r400k for st. she wasn't budging on price, so i walked.

the friendly girl wanted r1m but i think was willing to go as low as 700k, she wasn't that hot and i was not that desperate. the 2 girls behind me were also eyeing me now and started to take interest as i was negotiating unlike the other punters who were just there for the band or drink.

as i was about to start hitting on the 2 girls behind me, all of a sudden a girl came from nowhere (i don't remember seeing her anywhere, maybe she came from the dark right corner) had got to me before i got to them, she was not as hot as the r1. 8m girl but started negotiations, at the end we agreed with about 700k (i did not have enough rupiah so i mixed with a little r and some usd, i figured it would save me from changing back unused currency as i was leaving the next day). that was as low as she got, maybe lower if i was willing to walk. i guess the night was still young at around midnight but i was tired from a whole days work and travel. i was also too tired to head back to bats for a comparison (so i'll never know).

usually when work is involved and where plenty of pious colleagues are also staying at the same hotel, i usually like to give my room number and for the girl to come separately and discretely, but you need a room key to access the elevator. on the plus side, the wing where my room was was almost directly above tiga puluh and close to the elevator. so i risked with her travelling in the same elevator and made her walk a distance behind me. that was the best i could do, but i'm open to any tips you guys might have.

i think she said her name was ita. her body was tidy enough for someone who has had a baby. the service was overall good. but the experience partially ruined by her request for more money and wanted to raid my minibar which i forbade. then she took damn long to powder herself (i was really tired now) and wanted me to accompany her to the lobby because of security. i told that was bs and she should be able to leave without a problem. i bs to her that other girls did not request for me to accompany them to the lobby. sure enough about 10mins later, security rang my room to make sure everything was ok before they would let her go. i told them everything was cool.

I arrived a few nights ago and on my first night I "found" a really excellent young girl in my favorite mall within literally 15 seconds of entering around 9pm. I caught her eye and sat and chatted; she played hard to get and I left her to have a look around. I went back at 10pm and she was still there, without too much dificulty I got her back to my hotel because she said she was hungry. We had dinner in my room, she ate 5% as usual and then we got down to business. She said she needed money and we agreed Rp 700 which some will say was maybe 50% too much but it was my first night and she was obviously young, not been doing it long and VERY appealing. Her performance was top 10%. Did everything and very well.

If any REGULAR is interested I can provide her name and phone number or if you want to kid your self that you've managed to pick up an attractive girl half or a third your age (like I always do!) I'll tell you exactly where to find her. I saw her again a couple of nights ago in the same place and she is definitely new there.
