I haven't been to Macau in many years, but when I stayed at the Holiday Inn, they had a brothel / spa on one floor of that hotel. So I gave the voucher to my buddy and he made an inquiry to the place about the validity. They refused to make good on the credit. Ok, since they want to play this game, I decided to call my credit card company to dispute the whole charges instead. My CC issued me a temporary credit while they try to iron out this matter with them. I hardly file CC charge dispute against valid purchases. Crown is one of the worst places to use a Credit card (if you aren't a regular or know the system) as they have been known in the past to have bad staff which skim the numbers or add bogus charges. On top of that, I've never heard of needing to pay any deposits, or temporary credits, and I've opened KTV rooms and such. Of course I book through PR staff which I've known for years. I"m questioning if it wasn't just a case of miscommunication, or if your 'local contact' was in on something, or the staff scammed you. You probably paid for the Minimum spending for the Room up front, but didn't meet the minimum? If that's the case, you won't get any money back for the difference.

It seems like you are annoyed about your 200 k CJs beer to the point you really can't let it go. Keep in mind, that your 200 k is the 'first drink' charge which includes a built-in entry fee, subsequent beers are 130 k.

Also (If you haven't noticed) CJs is located inside a 5-star hotel, one of the best (if not the best) in the City. You are also watching a high quality 10 member full piece international band play live for the night. Trust me, they aren't making money on your 200 k beer, after considering overhead, staff, and band costs. Besides, they clearly cater towards more affluent people who open bottles, and wouldn't continually grovel over a paying 200 k entry / first drink charge. Given the fact that some other high-end clubs in the city charge 200 k for entry alone (with no drink included), I really think your complaint is overblown. You didn't like the girls that night? Well, that's what can occasionally happen in any 'freelancer' places where the girls independently decide whether they want to come, the crowd can be hit-and-miss as management has no control over the girls that come on any given night. Blaming them for not having better girls is nonsensical, as they don't and cannot control that. Personally, I enjoy a place like CJ's much more for its band and atmosphere and potential for hooking up, over a place like Thermae or Insanity in Bangkok, or Apocalypse in Ho Chi Minh, despite the first drink charge.

If you have a one-track mind and only value young girls and cheep beer, and don't value intangibles like atmosphere / service / music / band and a fun environment, there are plenty of other run-down shit-stained, sticky floor drinking holes around town that match your budget. I have never been to Shanghai, but given the high cost of living comparable to New York City, I don't think p4 p would come cheap. Plus, I feel that scams are more rampant there, and after reading through some of the posts, it feels like one has to jump through many hoops. South East Asia seems so much simpler.

You're right in every way.

I still remember back in the old days in 2009 and 2010 when I had a real blast at Dongguan. Getting around and hooking up with girls were also very easy. However, that was before the WeChat era. IMHO the short answer is no. Don't think there is any action that early in the morning. Malio Spa starts from 2 pm. Good ones start trotting in by 3-4 pm. That to me is the best time to visit them, before they get rummaged by the wealthy locals, which starts happening from 7 pm onwards.

The quality of the girls is top notch. Yes Viets detest Chinese. But these places in Shanghai cater to expats not Chinese so the girls are very freindly and GFE. Vietnamese people really have to hold their noses to work in China. As you may be aware there is a huge animosity in Vietnam against the Chinese going back a long time. Picture this: Vietnamese people hold no grudges against the French or Americans, but ask them about Chinese and see what they have to say.

Anyway in Shanghai prices are outrageous considering what you get. China is not rich by any means. The mean income for a Chinese person in 2018 was $2722 per year. That's less than the mean income per month in rich countries. It's also not much different from Vietnam. There are some rich people in China. There are also hundreds of millions of poor people.

If you want to have sex with Viets in Vietnam go to brothels or sex sites where they are paid to fuck, not girls bars where they are paid to drink and entertain. You can get them easily for between 15 and 50 USD. Try Thienda, WeChat, and the full service barbershops to start. Also easy to do a sugar baby arrangement there for cheap.

Anywhere outside of Vietnam you will pay many times more and you will most likely be dealing with older / more hardened hookers. I usually have my Vietnamese takeout from Singapore instead of Jakarta. My last experience with a Viet girl in Jakarta at 1001 was terrible.

My experience with a Viet girl in 1001 was not exactly good either.
