If I remember correctly, the spa in Mal Ambassador is named Jaspa. While the entrance is on street level, you have to take an elevator up a few floors to the actual spa, which is spread out over two floors. The lower floor has saunas, showers, and lockers while the upper floor has the actual massage rooms.

Google Maps shows the 'Jaspa Family Health Spa' is permanently closed. Hope someone visiting Mal Ambassador can confirm.

Oakwood is a very expensive place to live in Jakarta. On a monthly agreement, it still worked out to 3 M per day. But the inside is probably the most comfortable interiors like a New York Central Park apartment, though smaller.

I saw that massage place at Mal Ambassador while shopping for a SIM card and some DVD movies for 10 k IDR each. I didn't go in because it didn't look like it was in a seedy enough environment. Usually, I'd trust getting some good action in a massage parlor in Blok M, KI, or Kelapa Gading. This place is in the middle of the electronic swap meet center, the whole five levels. So the curb appeal didn't get me to go there and try if the girls did any stick shifting or better. Though at times, I wanted to go there to see if the massage was legit and any good.

Yes, Oakwood is nice. Another, less-expensive place in that area to recommend is Somerset Apartments, an older building but "well-appointed" as the Brits would say. Your room includes free breakfast on the penthouse floor at the top of the north tower, great view while you eat.
