Been here 4 days. First day wondered into Loskari where an aggressive and pushy pimp got rude and aggressive when I didn't want his girls. Haven't been back of course, could be dangerous. Had 2 days sick but recovered enough to go to Travel hotel, lots of girls sitting around but was lumbered with one mamasan, quite friendly but tried to push some less than desirable girls in my direction. She eventually conjured up some more decent girls of which I chose one. Turned out passable rather than good or bad, a bit mechanical. The average age and appearance of the girls on this Sunday night would be on par with the beer bar girls in Pattaya rather than the younger, slimmer gogo girls. Of course I noticed a few more younger ones as I was leaving. As a white old middle aged git I can't expect too much of course.

I booked non-refundable trip Mar 21-26 without realizing it coincides with Ramadan (Mar 10 - Apr 9) and seeking suggestions where and how to make the most of my trip during this time without it being an utter flop. Is there a complete shutdown of bars, clubs, massage parlors throughout the entire period or if it's only for a few days at the start and end of Ramadan. What about Classic, Travel, and establishments in and around Blok M and other areas?

As posted previously: quite a few of the girls have family in different parts of Indonesia and will visit these places for most of Ramadan. It's like Thanks Giving and Christmas combined.

Careful: many places will give the impression to be closed. But that's not necessarily true. E. g. The main entrance to the underground girls club at Travel Hotel is officially closed during Ramadan. However: there is a covert second entrance, not visible to the public. You have to ask the guards (using Google translate) about directions. The number of girls will be about half the usual number and most will arrive after sunset. As the girls are indeed strapped for cash just before and until late Ramadan, they are more eager to please (still the standard rate applies - 375 for covert sex).

At Lokasari (7 minutes on foot from Travel) you will find the usual girls, as they are all local girls from North Jakarta. See my previous posts about that place. Prices are 400-450 for BBFS CIP (bring your own lubrication! Either you have your own hotel or you have to pay another 200 for that. I'm generally meeting these girls at my AirBnB and I'm attaching some pictures to give an impression of choices.

I'm in the same boat and would like to know. I've RTFF and I've come to the conclusion that while there will be less girls (like 50% less), that leaves plenty enough to have fun. Another poster said the tail end of Ramadan is when things shutdown.

Pro Tip: the two weeks BEFORE Ramadan is THE BEST time to be in town as girls of all persuasions try to make extra money to fund the trip back home and the associated presents etc.

I totally support the admins on moderation. At times, it is disheartening to see someone mocked because of differences in opinions. It doesn't change because someone has a better knowledge of a particular area, so they can get away with treating others badly in public. In the end, it's the quality information that is welcomed by readers, not the opinions, IMHO. Having a bit of a sense of humour helps, but not by hurting others at the same time.
