I wonder how much an HIV test in Jakarta and / or in Indonesia will cost??

In other countries such as in Germany, the organisers will arrange a quick HIV test on the spot before they allow people to join the BBFS - CIP party. It costs EUR30, so presumably the true cost must be around that.

When you meet a civvy girl via seeking arrangement, tinder or other social networking sites. Could you not ask them to have an HIV test get certificate (or the like) and you pay for it, This is to reduced the risk significantly of getting life threatening incurable infection??

He referred to them as "scholars" and said that all of them were available to be brought up to your room for the night for a reasonable amount of money (the equivalent of $20 - $25 US?). These girls did not want to be seen as working girls in any nightclub or bar but still needed to earn some money. My co-worker said that he rarely went out to a nightclub or massage parlor since he didn't need to. He had had such good luck with the scholars, said the experience was very GFE.

Many international tourists come to Jakarta do not do their research thinking that it is reasonable to pay $300 a night as they are comparing to what they would have paid in their own countries. Many of them are just coming once in a few years or even once in their lifetime. These people are actually destroying the market. It is not good for everyone.

The average salary of an Engineer in Jakarta is IDR 8,100,654 per month in the Jakarta, that is equivalent to $540 a month. Also keep in mind that is an engineer Job, Not average job that could be done by ordinary people without a proper skills and higher education. Also you will still need to deduct it with income tax. So $300 might be a month salary for ordinary worker. The inium salary in Jakarta in 2022 is Rp4.573.845.

I agree, you can't go wrong with Tinder if you're looking for non-pro and semi pros (and full-on pro-pros if it comes to that).

Needless to say, we were both embarrassed wondering "What the hell are you doing on this app?" I immediately deleted the app. Can't for the life of me remember the name of it, but it was one of those Social Media apps used basically to hook up or to find open bookings.

Careful is the word for today's smartphones. As far as I'm concerned I strictly separate my work phone from my personal phone; handling 2 smartphones is bitchy but I didn't make mistake yet.

I go to Jakarta for work once or twice a year before pandemic, and about to have another one in 3-wks for almost 2-mo stay.

Seeking Arrangement is my preferred media, I found university students, flight-attendant, office workers, even pros all the time there.

If you are going to KG for the first time, start with the Kings Cross Bar.
If you plan to return late at night (after 1 am) finding a Taxi on the street is hit and miss. Compared to the Mangga Besar area, KG is remote.

Oh I might actually have some helpful information in this case.

When you come out of King Cross and you're facing Jl. Boulevard Bukit Gading Raya, turn left and start walking about 120 meters on that same Jl. to the short bridge that crosses over the flood river. On the other side of the flood river, which is also Jl. Boulevard Bukit Gading Raya, there's always one or two Bluebirds parked there ready to go. It seems to be the unspoken stopping point for picking up and taking home the late night horndogs in KG. Wkwkwk.

Either that, or keep your My Bluebird app handy. It's usually no longer than 7 minutes before a nearby Bluebird will show up. There are far too many malls nearby for this area to be depleted of waiting Bluebirds.
