The Sofyan Hotel Minangkabau owners also run the Menteng Group Hotels ironically. So I'd avoid them as well. These are mainly crappy 2/3 star hotels with in-house massage girls. The only hotel in this group you could make the mistake of booking is probably the Royal Kuningan (which doesn't even have a bar) though it claims to be 4 star.

I've never tried this and it's just a thought, but it may work. When you arrive a the Sharia hotel, have a prostitute check in with you wearing one of those all black Saudi woman outfits that cover their entire body and face. You can claim she is your wife. After that, just have whatever prostitute you bring to the hotel wear the same outfit. How will they ever be able to tell it's not the same girl?

Thanks for bringing me a morning laugh, Smoothy! You are a sick little puppy. Best, TTG.

Oh, the old prostitute in a Saudi burka trick. Just remember that to make it realistic enough to get away with one has to restrict himself to 300 lb. women/prostitutes with that distinct "Saudi burka waddle."

I, myself, would rather just be less adventurous and not stay at a sharia hotel.

Are the hotels in Jakarta all green? Especially that I'm looking to book in a 5 star hotel (Ritz or Shangrila,. Etc), are they going to make a fuss if am picking a girl or two to my room every now and then? Should I bribe someone in advance?
Actually, two of the better-known monger locales are bars/clubs in 5-star hotels, i.e., BATS and CJs, if this provides any perspective. For example, BATS is located in the Shangila. And only the "sharia hotels" (as they were referred to by another poster in this thread), would place any restrictions on this (although I can't speak to whether some of the hotels would object to bringing two girls at the same time to one's room). And the odds of inadvertently booking into a "sharia hotel" by random chance is very low, and probably non-existent if one is looking at well-known 5-star hotels.

And no bribe needed anywhere as far as I know.

No, only sharia hotels make a fuss.

That's tomorrow (Saturday, 4th July) not today.

If a chic asks for 1.5, you could easily get her down to 1 this way, as Saturdays are when they make their money.

Having said that, is roughly two weeks after Ramadan

A good time to go? I'm solidifying the dates tomorrow morning for a hop around SEA from roughly 20 July-5 August, and I'm wondering if it's worth fitting into my plans. I'm doing HCMC-PP / SR-AC, and given the relatively dirt-cheap nature of the detour, I was wondering if the time of year would make it a wash. As an aside, will I have much more trouble as a Black monger here compared to say Thailand / PI? I'm mid-20's, not-in-the-best-shape-but-not-completely-buggered-either, dress clean, smell nice, and carry cash; that seems to be a winning combination most other places.

A Frieslander uncle staying with our family offered to treat me to some English language books. This would involve a day out in his Opelette and a long journey down south from leafy Cikini to the Kavelings of Kebayoran. After a quick visit to the book shop and a purchase of Treasure Island my Om Van Loon proclaimed it was time for a beer and pahit. He said I was too young for the bar despite my protestations and abandoned me, locked up in his hot dirty Opel. About 3 hours of waiting and waiting in Faletehan (and half way through Treasure Island) my Uncle appeared with a sweat and smile on his face. I refused to visit Blok M with him ever again on his weekly sojourns.

But somehow about two years later I ended up there again. I met a blok M regular. A part german lady called Ulla who lived in the new Ragunan Zoo and had brought along a baby monkey in a nappy for a drink, I discovered Blok M could be fun. In those days the most famous character in Blok M was called Clemens. He was a very good natured Hornbill bird that wandered from shop to bar to shop. He scared the shit our of any newcomers especially the hardy oilmen.

Although only chest height to the pool tables, it became my new hobby. A wasted youth. The Brits did explain they wanted to teach me how to play pool "properly" after each foul by shouting and pointing rudely to play the bloody ball behind the line of the Dee...
You are talking late 60's, early 70's here? Clemens, I've never met unfortunately. I am too much of an irregular visitor. I've always liked the blok. Even on the first visit. But, back then, it was dissappointing for other reasons. There was talk about this new deadly virus. At least 90% of the Thai working girls had it. And bareback-galore blok M? One could only imagine. Spooked by the hearsay, I would cover up, not kiss and after each session, I 'd spend an hour in the shower with Dettol as best friend. Crazy.

Any premium pussy that I can get a hold off instead of going to BATS and CJ's like high class escort agency or something? My budget is not a problem given that she is a stunner.
I'd agree with Smoothy when he says the Russians are robots and have possibly the most stuck-up and arrogant attitude of the female species in earth, but you'll find them in Malioboro, Alexis, Classic Bunker and Sumo Spa. At Sumo in Kelapa Gading they go for 1. 3 juta last time I went, which is the best deal in town.

As for Moroccans, Go to De Leila or Three Horse. Prices range from 3 juta upwards (the prettiest ones won't settle for less than 5 juta).

  14. #10017
You will not find any Moroccans, but you can find Russians at pretty much every high end brothel in town. Try Alexis and Malioboro, but honestly they are all over town in many different places.

In this world, I don't think there are any more beautiful girls than Russian. However, I'll let you in on a little secret. The local Indonesian girls are better in bed. For the money you spend on a robotic Russian girl, you can get a fantastic local LBFM.
