Last week in HT, mamasan told me they also have a 2 girl special: 2 girls for 1. 5 hours for 450, 000. I will try it out next time.

This is my idea of a good time:

Visit Hotel Travel in the mid afternoon, pop, eat dinner and then head to Berlain for cheap soapy massage, pop, then about 11 pm hit the Blok M bars.

500k-600k IDR to a Blok M girl for all night.

Stay at Mercure Rekso Hayum Waruk in the Mangga Besar area. No problem to bring a girl back. It is a good place to stay, close to the MP scene.

There is a nice restaurant at the Jayakarta Hotel down the street, check it out for duck, century eggs, etc.

Any incidentals can be purchased at Glodok / Lindeteves Trade Center or the Lokasari Plaza nearby. It's convenient.

Good advice here except I would not hit up BlokM if you're staying in Kota area. Get the full experience and stick to the north area, you have places in Hayam wuruk, lokasari, gajah madah, etc.

Has anyone every ventured into the "Korean Massage" place near Fortune and Delta in Grand Wijaya complex? I think there are actually two right next to eachother, but one offers hair cuts and the like.

Anway, what is offered there? It looks kind of interesting.

Thanks for the info Travelin Dog as I'm going on R&R next Friday so I will try it out when I'm back from my 10 day surfing, sailing, & diving trip. Its been a while since I've been to HT's and about time I spread my pocket full of personality around the traps.

I sincerely appreciate your "thank-you's" and your promise to post a report.

But then you go ahead and once again ask a lot of questions. While it's tempting to answer your latest set of questions, or at least to tell you to RTFF and read 2007 posts by me (and others) about Malioboro, the reality is that there comes a time when one has to stop asking questions and actually do something & post about it! You've received more than enough info as it is.

The reality is that Jakarta is filled with good places, with a variety of different types of places to visit, from high-end to medium-end to low-end to soap-places to night clubs to smaller pick-up bars. Every place has at least a few pretty girls working there, even places like Kartika. You just have to be there when they're available.

By the way, I've had good luck at Kartika as early as 1 pm and as late as 9 pm. Some girls work only the day shift (ask for Cindy) and others don't arrive at work until 5 pm. My favorite girl at Berlian, Inna, doesn't start until 3 pm, but there's some cute girls there as early as 12 Noon.

So, stop asking questions and go out and have some fun! Then write a report here about what happened to you.

The Maribaya in Hotel Melawai 6th floor is open every day from 10 am Until about 1 in the morning. Shift change occurs at 5 pm Price is 450, 000 for 1 hour, all included. (+maybe 50, 000 tip). They are usually not very strict on the 1 hour time limit.

I was there last week, and the cewek told me they are soon to be closing down for renovations for a long time. Maybe call 1st to check if they are still open. Tel 021 739 7233.

I first went to TC's around '95 and stopped going there around 2 years ago as there were too many girls there my daughters age and also too dark and bloody noisy. End of an era but something else always pops up elsewhere.

Last Saturday night I was in Locasari Plaza and I noticed that the stairs going to up to TC have been torn out and the club is now part of a large parking deck.

First, yes, don't expect every taxi to know every spot. One visit to Classic had my Bluebird taxi driver asking if this was the right one? I was wondering if there was more than one?

There is (was?) another Classic almost in front of the main entrance of Hotel Jayakarta in Kota. It is not a hotel though, but with a lot of girls inside.
