I have a flight May 29th, staying in Jakarta until June 3rd. My first time to monger in Indonesia so really looking forward to it.

I've done a lot of research on Jakarta so I can hit the ground running, but I am confused about some acronyms at the massage places:

What the hell is MMC? I can't guess, and I have a decent IQ! Mouth to mouth contact?

BM is body massage I assume, MK what is MK? Also I see PM, what is PM?

What's a reasonable rate on seeking? I got one that quoted me 200 usd while another 4 m seems high correct? I'm going to be in Town for a short period of time only and was hoping to lock in something before I arrive next month.

I think Classic or Travel are your best bets, or perhaps Malio. All three places are large. Classic is normally largest by far, but was not in full operation when I was there in March. Only one floor out of four was open. They all have lots and lots rooms, always very clean. I have only ever used rooms for sex, never to stay in over longer time. However, it may be possible to rent them as hotel rooms too. I think there was somebody on the forum here some years ago talking about this. The rooms I have been in never had windows, but it may be possible to get a room with a window for your purposes (on the other hand it may not matter so much to you if you just need somewhere to sleep for a few hours). Your best bet is probably simply to call them or write and email and ask.

I love the way travel hotel operates. I would like to try again next month. How is it now compared to pre-covid times?

Just checking do we still need to test upon arrival? I don't really like the Chinese test kits and do not trust them. Don't want my holiday spent in quarantine.

Assuming that you have been vaccinated and tested before getting on the plane then no arrival PCR nor quarantine is required.

If you show symptoms, then you will be directed to receive a PCR test. If positive, you will go to quarantine until clear.

It would be wise to check closer to your departure date as the rules are changing quickly to allow easier entry and exit.

The 48 hours test is a challenge. As travel time can be 20 hours or more.

It's <48 hrs before take off, not landing. Travel time is of no consequence. Even transit times are ignored. Just don't leave the 3rd party airport and formally enter another country.

I've never flown into Jakarta before, I expected to say Jakarta in the update.

There are technically two international airports in Jakarta. However, Halim is hardly ever used now.

Soekarno Hatta is CGK on all the airport codes.
