I mention this so others don't make my mistake. I had my money, my passport, my valuables, all locked in the safe, But I simply forgot about my phone and its value. My only consolation is it is a Verizon phone and will not work on any network in Indonesia. So the girls stole a pig in a polk.

I could be mistaken because I am no expert on a "Verizon Phone", but I had a T-Mobile phone from the USA that supposedly wouldn't work in Indonesia and was "locked" by T-Mobile. I took it to Mal Ambassador and the tech guys there hacked it in minutes. I gave that phone to my girlfriend and she still uses it in Indonesia with an Indo sim card.

Wednesday Nov 6.

This was my friends first trip to Indonesia. He invited me to come along as his "guide". He was meeting 2 girls he met online at DIA. We arrived a few minutes early from the USA. I hit CJ'S next and had a margarita with the entry fee. Again I walked around and collected a number or 2.

My last stop was Blok M. I had fun there in May of last year.

I got to "Dee's" place a bit early, like 1:30 am. It was empty. Some skinny little thing latched on to me. Soon her friend joined us. I drank 2 more beers. Probably 2 more than I should have had. The king-size beers from BATS had kicked in and I was ready to head back to Shangri-La. I cut a deal for both for 1. 5.

We all headed back to Shangri-La. Security guy helped me walk to the elevator as the long day + the alcohol affected me more than I expected. I rarely drink here at home so the 2 king-sized beers were not a good idea.

Video taped the whole session. Had fun. But I was tired as I rolled over & the girls let themselves out. Just looked at the video tape tonight and all appeared normal.

The next morning I get up and go to plug in my phone to charge it and it's fucking gone. I am 100% sure those fucking girls stole it.

I immediately start to panic because all my contacts. All my weeks of social media setups are gone in an instant. My friend went out shopping after he woke up and he bought me a Samsung A50's. It took the better part of a day to start to piece back some of the girls I met online.

I needed an American phone to validate my login to Tinder. Thank God for Jeff and his USA phone; I managed to log into Tinder on my laptop, but not on the phone. I was eventually able to log into Badoo on my phone, but not the laptop.

It's a mother* when you have accounts set up in America and try to re-login from overseas without the proper validation. The Tinder SMS could only go to a USA phone as the country code was LOCKED at +1. Thank God again for Jeff.

Thursday. Nov 7.

My whole day was a bust. I had a dinner date with Anna at 6 pm. I met Anna on Tinder and even tho I was logged in to Tinder around 2 pm, I couldn't scroll down to find her. It only let me scroll down the last 10 contacts.

She knew I was at Shangri-la and I kept my fingers crossed that she would call the hotel and ask for me when I didn't message her at 5 pm as agreed. As time rolled past 6 to 7 pm I gave up hope.
To me this was supposed to be my best date of the trip. She was pretty, intelligent, had a good full-time job. Everything seemed right for a great date and maybe more later.

Out of frustration, I tried Tinder again and lo & behold, I got all the way to the bottom of the list (Anna was my 3rd contact of 75+ women). I immediately added her number and sent a WhatsApp message. I'm now almost an hour overdue from the prearranged dinner date time. Luckily? She was waiting and wondering. Dressed and ready, she came right over to Shangri-La and we went to Outback Steakhouse in Ratu Plaza because she wanted steak for dinner. I had eaten here several times in the past. Usually ok, my rib-eye was mediocre at best.

The plan was to have dinner then go our separate ways. I told her in advance of the trip, I had plans with Jeff. The idea was to let the 1st date "simmer" and see how date #2 went. For #2, she had agreed to go out and party with me on Friday night and said she would spend the whole night with me at Shangri-La.

As I got out of the taxi at the hotel, she said she is going to a friends and might like to come back later that night and stay the night with me.

That's what got me all fucked up. I hang around BATS and around 1 am she is messaging me telling me she is leaving the friends house and coming back. I wait and wait. I eventually get a message that she is still with her friend and apologizes for being late. By 3:30 am I am still waiting and wondering as BATS is closing and we have to leave. I go back to the room and wait. Long and short of it she never comes and I never hear from her again. A bit confused by that one.

It was fucking amazing, even tho I pissed away the whole night waiting on Anna, my earlier homework paid off. I managed to contact one of the girls whose number I collected on Wednesday night from BATS. Cicilla, came over at 4:30 am. Top 4 sex on the trip and just what I needed to top off a shitty day.

NEXT REPORT. I meet JavaGuy and Javawife and a wild fun night ensues. Definitely made up for the shitty Thursday night.

I have the same impression of the bar as you, but actually had a beautiful experience with one of the 400 K girls from the bar. Don't know whether it was an exception that confirms the rule about the bar, or whether we are blinded by the polishedness of the lounge (and even more so the club).

I have tried The Pool in my previous trip. Not much of a fan there since you are restricted to just that one spot. Malio allows access to other places within the building which is much better as I can move around.

However, I am a big fan of the Colosseum club below The Pool. It's a dance club with DJ playing EDM. In fact, Steve Aoki performed there last Thursday. Too much of my money has been spent there. I am still yet to find any dance club in the region that can beat Colosseum in terms of lighting and ambience.

Two of my most memorable experiences / girls have been with the 400 K girls (although I recall it being more 350 K? I find that there are a few hidden gems there from time to time. Considering you can get quite pretty and slim, well toned girls at Classic and Travel, for 300-400 K, I have a hard time justifying 1. 7 m unless it's for the nicer spa experience.

Then there is the one across the lounge where price is 400 K per hour but the quality of the girls there are bad.

Those prices are the same as I experienced last week and on previous visits, just that they go up or down depending on whether tax is included. Thus a girl from the lounge was quoted as 1. 6 million by mama, then the girl herself told me it was 1. 5, then I asked them for clarification and it turned out to be 1. 5 + 200 000 tax = 1. 7 million. If you stay there for many hours and do many girls and try to keep accurate count of how much you are spending you could have a nasty surprise at the end when "tax" is suddenly slapped onto everything. It has happened to me in the past. It's a terrible business practice which lowers Malio's standing in my opinion.

Personally I prefer the lounge. But I would never go to the lounge without dropping by the club for a peek. They are connected by a corridor on one of the higher floors, the staff will gladly point you in the right direction and there is no extra fee for switching back and forth.

Also had a Malio night last night. I like that these days you don't get completely flogged by a heard of girls anymore, as well that the girls aren't too pushy on the LD's anymore.

All in Menteng, ojek ride past Monas to Pasar Baru / Classic area.

I enjoyed an open air shisha joint at the Gadja Mada Food Street, it is a very short (after rush hour) taxi / GoJek ride from Classic. I found it to be a really cool spot with good live music and lots of interesting eateries. It was a perfect spot for me to chill out and recover after a Classic threesome. I then walked down to Hotel Malio as its only about 10 minutes but to my chagrin they had closed early that night.

Another night I went to the'Consulate Lounge after an awesome session at Emporium Spa, but it is also not too far from Classic via a taxi or GoJek.

Both have free wifi if you buy stuff, which makes for a pleasant surfing, smoking, recovery.
