As many times as I've been to Classic (over 100) , I have never had a fantastic service experience there. I actually think the service there is not that good. But there are some very cute girls there and they are young and cheap. I still think the best service you can find in Jakarta is at the 6th floor Hotel Melawai, but the girls are definitely not as young and good looking as they are at Classic.

I do agree with Hotel Melawai being great service. On my first visit to Jakarta two years ago this was my first stop following checkin to the Gran Mahakam. Was a bit of a walk and agree the quality was not great but the service was superb. I've not tried classic yet but will do so soon.

I agree with that for westerners. But for Chinese and Malaysians, they will likely prefer Kota.

Seemingly so. The majority of the clientele in my assessment at Classic were Asian (be it local Indonesians or Koreans, Chinese etc). Only spotted one or two bule and even an Indian (who technically are Asian too, right?)

Is this because they prefer this type of venue? Or because the looks of the girls? Or both?

For a Jakarta newbie I would not advise Kota, Classic, etc. In my opinion you should start in Jakarta selatan with its bars and clubs aimed at bules. Jalan Felatethan and the other Blok M opportunities will get you started and will likely give you some ideas on other locations, aided by this essential site. After gaining some experience you can move further north, to places like Malioboro, etc. I will not recommend Alexis, since after reading many reports I still think it is a hugely overpriced place. Why go to Indonesia to screw a Russian lady that will perform worse than an Indonesian girl and will cost you ten times more?

That is a fair assessment Ko and am going to have to agree. Now that I think of it, South Jakarta is indeed a better start. Indeed, why go to Indonesia for a Russian lady? The performance / service from some of the (Indo) ladies at Classic was 10/10!

At the tail end of 5 nights in Jakarta. On all 5 nights went to Classic "Terminal 2", while visiting Hotel Travel once, maybe a little too early 7:30-8. 00pm and only stayed around 10 minutes. So, as a Jakarta newbie I can say I am impressed with whats on offer for our hobby. I would advise anyone coming here for their first time to make a visit to Hotel Classic Terminal 2. I can confirm the price is 315, 000 IDR per girl plus tip (aim for 100, 000 IDR) I didn't partake in the 2 girl option, maybe next time. The only thing that might catch some newbies out is the pushy mamasans who will grab you by the arm and insist on looking at their girls, even calling girls over with to meet you. Not always a bad thing, because they will ask you what you are after and whether a girl provides good service. Also worth mentioning is the friendly staff at Hotel Classic. The club security, door girls and lift attendants. Didn't experience or feel like I was being ripped off. As the door attendants will let you know about any minimum charges for entry on the night, and reminding you NOT to lose the wristband they give you upon entry.

Other than that, Jakarta is a hectic city. It's true. The traffic is stupid. Choose and research the location of your hotel carefully. I stayed walking distance to Hotel Classic in the North of Jakarta. This means that trips to the South where the tourist / expat areas are can take on average 45 minutes.

hi guys,

am planning my upcoming trip to jakarta. i've been twice already for ten day periods. i plan to stay the ten days again but venture out of jakarta. my aim to is find a place which has a bit to see as in touristy stuff but definitely has available ladies too. if touristy not to good and ladies are plentiful then i'd prefer that combo. i am into a mix of things having luck with dating sites and mall meets as well as p4p. can anyone suggest a particular place outside of jakarta (already been to bandung) which can offer the best of both worlds? i'm not too keen on flying (prefer somewhere close by mini bus) but i think i've resigned to the fact i will need to fly. i'm also ok to stay in pretty seedy places.

take a taxi to gambir station and catch the train to bandung, its only about 2. 3 hours and picturesque. the funny bit is the kids hurling cricket ball sized rocks at the train as you come in towards bandung. huge grins on these little heads peering over the fence then a barrage of rocks. funny

But before you do so, spend a few minutes to read the numerous posts here about Stadium, as there are some potential dangers at this places, including lots of drugs, stories about guys being given spiked drinks (not sure how true, but certainly a possibility) , and the higher-than-normal chance of this place being raided.

I've had plenty of good times at Stadium, although not generally mongering there. But I did have one incident where I think my drink was spiked. I was with a large group of people, and a waria somehow infiltrated the circle. You know what it's like with a large group, everyone assumes that if someone's there in the crowd, they must be someone's friend. It was a mixed crowd, Indonesians and foreigners, men and women, with a few gays in the mix, so it wasn't entirely implausible. I'd drunk a fair bit, but not enough to get totally wasted, by any means, but at some point in the evening I began to feel really lousy, slurring and barely able to stand up. The waria began haunting me, and I didn't have the strength or coordination to tell him / her to fuck off. I found its hand in my pocket, but could only manage to defend myself weakly. I finally went up to a friend and managed to explain, he went up and shouted at it to get the hell away from us all. Which s / he did. I woke up the next morning with a foul hangover and a g / f giving me very sour looks for what she said was my appalling behavior the previous night, and practically no memory of what had happened, although it began to come back later. Pretty sure that the waria put something in my drink. Sure, I was careless, but that happens when you drink too much.

I don't see the need really. I don't think the establishment is aiming for that. While others have said you can, in my view, Hotel Classic is very much an on site affair.

I'm not really reccomend you to go to Stadium. There's lot of drugs there. If you really want to stay out of trouble just go to Clasic or Travel hotel.

I personally recommend you to Clasic second floor. I don't really like the girls in Travel.

I highly recommend you consider a visit to Kartika Spa, which is three alleyways north of the alley where you enter Stadium. It's a bit run down but the service is superb.

Kartika is the place where you get a full body "nuru-style" soapy body massage, something that every man should experience at least once in their lives. Ideally, you should try a two-girl session although that is a little pricey. I think the house fee is 350, 000 or 400, 000 rupiah per girl for an hour, plus the expected tip is probably 100, 000 rupiah per girl.

It was my favorite place when I worked in Jakarta (2004-2009) and I went there at least once every 3 weeks or so during that time. It was discussed extensively here on ISG in the past, especially 2006-2008, but I rarely see it mentioned anymore. Not sure why.

Do a search on my old posts 2004-2008 and you'll see that I discussed Kartika a lot. If you don't want to spring for a 2-girl session, a 1-girl session will still be memorable. My two favorite girls were Cynthia (who unfortunately died in 2007 of a stomach disease) , and Cindy, who may still be there.

An old tip. For a 2-girl session, never pick the 2 girls yourself (unless it's obvious that the 2 girls are friends). I always pick one girl and let her choose the 2nd girl, that way you know the 2 girls are compatible and will work together. I learned this the hard way back in February 2005, when I picked 2 girls on my own and then discovered up in the room that they couldn't stand each other.

I'm not recommend Kartika. I ever go once with 2 of my friends. All three of us got really suck services. Only like 10 minutes of the what you call nuru style. And the girls kindda hurry. Also kindda pushy about the tips.

I reccomend the place before Kartika. The name is Royal. Never ask for tips. And get a good service. And cheaper too. Even the place no better than Kartika. Its only cost 250k last year.
