I'd be very wary about countries like Indonesia reporting any information accurately. Another that jumps out at me would be Cambodia. 1 reported and recovered case out of all the Chinese who likely went to all the casinos in Sihanoukville and to Naga World in PP. Seems a bit suspect.

If ever there was a place for a viral "hot spot" to emerge, wouldn't it be in an airless, enclosed area where many people are congregated and sharing breathing space and fluids? How many infected Chinese in a place like Hotel 1001, Classic, Travel et. Al. Would it take to pollute everybody? Are they aiming the temperature taking gun at the entrances in Indonesia yet?

What about Mong La, Burma? That town near the Chinese border is the wild east, a true no man's land with gambling, whoer houses, and just about anything illegal in the animal and drug trade available for a price in CNY currency. It basically has an open land border with China and I have heard of no reported cases from there since the epidemic began. Meanwhile the rest of Burma, lawful Myanmar, is reporting zero cases as well. I have my doubts, ha ha, but I still have plans to fly to Yangon to party with my Burmese FL in May. In fact, I am going to bring her back to BKK with me and show her the sights for a few nights. It should be fun.

Back when the bird flu hit Asia in the mid 2000's, I read some articles stating that Indonesia refused to report anything about that sickness to the world health organization (WHO). Their rationale for not reporting their cases and sharing samples seemingly was that the WHO (mainly the USA) was just scamming poorer countries like Indonesia so that they could provide high priced medications that Indonesians wouldn't be able to afford. I wasn't quite sure of the logic.

At the end of the day, it really is up to each person's risk tolerance. I really want to head back to Jakarta and spend a week visiting Hotel 1001 every day (those girls are seriously hot), but decided to avoid Asia for now as well.

For me, another concerning point is China's reaction to the virus. 99% they're just worried about the 3% mortality rate affecting the huge population, but there's 1% of my brain that's paranoid and thinks the CCP is actively hiding something.

Me too. Few contacts are very much interested to meet. One potential contact is moving overseas by may. We both are eager to meet before she leaves.

It is very tempting indeed. That's why I was finding reasons to plan.

I was worrying about the process I need to go through when returning back to Melbourne. After a lot of reading and discussing with girls I have visited during my past trips, I have decided to postpone the trip to June.

Haha, I was in Bali and walked down this one street where the Marriott Courtyard is located. A bunch of sexy gals wearing the most incredibly sexy outfits. All looked like hookers of course.
