    Ban Bang

I hardly doubt that, despite Female Muslim elected pushing for it! I don't think all those Perverted Elected Man won't just hold their dick and watch this lady passing it in to a law. I don't think it's going anywhere, specially this organized and thriving industry.

Any insights from people who know more about Indonesian society and politics than I do would be appreciated.

Hope I make it there before it happens.

As far as I know they always did that. Alexis did it as well. I think it's 21%, but it may well be 30%.

True, but it's not far from Taman Lawang.

I visited M. O. Bar back in 2014 several times on lady's night. The girl's drinks are free so that is at least partial motivation for the girls to come. It was never overly crowded, tho I did go earlier in the evening, but I did meet a few nice ladies that made the stop worthwhile.

According to Facebook. MO bar still has lady's night on Tuesday and Thursday from 8 pm to 1 am.

Does anyone out there have an update or a recent visit?

The veterans may know what I am talking about. It gave me the kick to loaf around there (with almost no bules around) and just venture. Super local and cheap as fuck.

Does anyone know if such places (like Kalibojo) still exists and can trow in some names so I can research myself? Happy to RTFF but cannot get the right keywords / names to start.

    Cheers,

    Malibo

Was in Jakarta for a couple of days recently and visited Malibo and both times ended up for a BJ service upstairs. They are now wearing see through tops and bikini type panties. One hopes that this is the first steps before the nude dancing begins somewhere down the line.

Beware that they are now adding a 30% tax on the final bill which surprised me the first time as I didn't experience it last year.

BATS everyone is asking 2 million and have to be a night of slim pickings for them to agree to 1. 5 million.

Blok M MyBar was not very crowded on both days I went. Have to be patient and wait for a while to pick a good one. 700,000 is the price here.

    Metropolis

Here are some girls from Metropolis from the Metropolis Instagram account.

An even better place (much better) is the'Heaven Spa in Grand Wijaya Center which is less than a 5 minute cab ride from Hotel Melawai. As much as I liked Maribaya, there are definitely other options in that area.

    Taman Lawang

This Taman Lawang is really getting overboard! One should experience this once in a life time at least once! As stated below, unless you are into these very modified gods creation! Please keep doors very locked and windows very up, you have been warned, LMAO.

The gent said he'd be in town 3 months. If he will be in town that long, some may consider it a must to swing by TL for a good laugh. Most of the locals know it well and will crack up laughing at the mere mention of the place.

I have driven through there many times after picking up a girl from BATS. The girls from BATS will act like they don't like driving through there, but in reality they love it. The girl with me will normally slouch down and semi hide her face as the driver laughs while we drive through and enjoy the sights. Good fun! It's not as busy as it was in years gone by, but you can still spot some pretty large silicone implants on occasion. I normally tease my BATS girl in the car about how the sexy things we are driving past are even sexier than her, and the girl will basically always agree.

My field report: Maribaya is dead. As dead as a doornail. It's shuffled off this mortal coil and gone to join the Choir Invisible.

The space has been converted into meeting rooms and an in-house massage area aimed at the visiting civil servants who comprise most of the hotel's clientele.

Blok M is getting developed and respectable. Nihilo sanctum estne?

Bonus find from my field trip: Go closer to the intersection where the MRT runs and you'll find a no-questions-asked short-time hotel!

Plunk down Rp 180,000 and get six hours in a clean, microscopic and windowless room filled by a bed and a transparent shower cube, with a flat screen TV mounted on the wall. You'll need a wide-angle lens to take any pictures that's how close the walls are.

The short-time place is next to a low-end bar / pub, and is likely under the same managemental though I don't think there is a dank corridor connecting the two, like there is Bintang Mawar and Hotel Safari.
A short walk right around the corner from Hotel Melawai is Blok M Square. There is a massage place called Metropolis that you can go to there.

Last June I took a look at the 6th floor (you can just walk in and take the elevator) and there was much sound of construction work going on in the former bar area. Could there actually be a renovation going on with the aim of bringing back a rejuvenated Maribaya? Who knows.
