I've never seen the point in trying to negotiate with a freelancer over LT because they will almost certainly give you the "capek" excuse after the first shot, so if you want a proper LT, go book them on-site at King's Cross, Stadium etc, because this way she knows you can complain if she didn't service you but it's expensive.

By the way, Blok M ST is 750, 00k + taxi, if they won't budge then try later before closing time they might change their minds and in my experience always worked especially if it's a weekday not a weekend.

This is why I prefer ST the first time I am with a girl. I would rather not make the big investment before I sample the goods. If the 1st round is great and there is some chemistry, I can usually extend the session or definitely make another date for later. If the session is less than great, I am better off to keep it short time and let her go. The only time I don't arrange ST the first time is in AC and Subic where LT is the default. Good luck down at the Block. Don't worry about the BATS experience, sometimes you get a bad experience, particularly if they think you're new and don't know the ropes. Forget it. But there's no need to tip a girl if you meet her in a club and agree on a price. You CAN, if you want, but only if she's really fun and you want to go out of your way to express your appreciation. I don't buy the extra for "taxi money" in that situation, either. I'm jumping ahead and posting about my first experience in Jakarta, have not yet posted about my time in Angeles but I thought I'd share what happened last night.

I decide on BATS to open my time here, thinking that despite the price, if I get lazy later on I could get access to some action quickly without having to go out.

Arrive, music is way too loud. Band is reasonable. Few girls around. Circle circle, particularly taken by one girl in a Burberry dress who's giving me the eye but by the time I get to wanting to approach her she's with another gent. I begin chatting yo another lovely with a flower in her hair for the next hour or so. Eventually she says she has to go "working" as she has to find customers, alias I ask "what about me". The price quoted is US$150 for ST! I ask if she can go LT and she ponders the thought, telling me she doesn't want to stay.

Now as for the threat of being bashed, well I hope I'm ok the rest of the time here. I'm not staying at the Shangrila nor planning to return to BATS so from rust perspective I should be alright. Just hope she's not vindictive enough to have someone waiting outside my hotel to follow me, but given a lack of specific threat as such, I hope to be ok.

I had some questionable experiences with LT in Angeles too which is making me wonder whether I should keep persisting. Unfortunately it's starting to boil down to the three how's,"how much, how long, how many times".

If you want to get all organic and natural, Indonesia produces an excellent product from a wood root, called pasak bumi, that promotes testosterone production without some of the side effects of testosterone supplementation. Sounds good. But I prefer being under the eyes of a doctor that monitors and tests the prostrate levels to assure it maintains a normal size. They test the blood every 3 months and adjust the amount of the injection to maintain the testosterone level around 1100. When I first applied for the program my testosterone level was 285. Had a difficult time keeping it up. Now no problem, and I am always horney.

I haven't noticed any side effects except the mussel tone has improved and the energy level has climbed. Nothing negative as far as I can see and I have been on the regiment for 6 months.

I have lived in Indonesia longer than 15 years, and I think you made two excellent points:

1. There has been a "sexual revolution in Indonesia" after the 1997/98 KrisMon. I will leave it up to someone with a higher pay grade to corrolate the economics and sex; and.

2. It does get easier, as a guy gets older, to increase his hit rate with non pros (and the occassional pro). My experience with IC women who state they are "open to men "18. 70"" is that they really want a more mature, oftentimes more inteligent man, so typically makes more money that the stud (no offense to the studs out there).

Honestly, I think I can continue to do this for the next twenty years, and I am in my mid 60s. Would I look foolish doing that? Or would the pleasure I would get make up for looking foolish.

You and me both mate, we're in precisely the same boat. However, as Bule2004 says below this isn't the west with all their ridiculous, anal-retentive attitudes to sex (and to listen to smug westerners you'd think they were the "liberated" ones and people in Indonesia were all ignorant, uptight, sexual prudes). Indonesian women aren't stupid, they know what's out there and they know damn well that given half a chance their men will be making out like tom cats if they can.

But provided we don't do anything stupid like getting ourselves caught or bring shame on the wife and family what an Indonesian wife doesn't know about she chooses not to ask. If she catches you then woe be tide you for a week or so, you'll be sleeping in the spare room while she thinks up her revenge but it will be endurable. Think about an American wife who caught her husband messing around with dolly birds, she'd be on the phone to her lawyer in a heartbeat and you'd be living in a miserable little apartment for the rest of your days, only seeing your kids on a Saturday morning for a trip to the zoo or MacDonalds and handing over two thirds of your salary and savings to keep her (and no doubt her new boyfriend) in the style to which she's grown accustomed in the house that you bought and now never see.
