Hey friends, I'm really looking for oil massage options in Jakarta that are kind of cheap but good. Is there any place / street where there are a lot of them? Something like Soi Bhukhao in Pattaya. Mostly looking for clean oil massages, but if they offer something at the end, I don't mind, as long as the massage is good. If anyone of you have outcall massage options that are reasonable priced, keen to hear those too. I did try a couple by google searching but they were just okay not even as good as a bad massage in thailand.

Dolarindo is a reliable chain of money changers. Ok exchange rates and no nonsense. There is one next to Classic. Otherwise you can search google maps for them.

It is important that your bank notes are in large denominations and in pristine order (not torn, no writing on them). If not, they will give you a worse rate or refuse to change them.

I have been to Thailand many times and was down in Bali once. I did not have a great experience in Bali as I went to a few places and the girls were pretty mechanical. I don't care so much about the flirting and groping in the bar but do want a more GFE type of experience in the room. It sounds like that is available in Jakarta so I figured I would give it a shot. Pretty sure you will enjoy Jakarta, just remember the onus is one you to approach the girls. Like others have said, it's a very different scene from BKK and Pattaya and places like that.

There is one at the next door, Hotel Mustika in the hotel room by a couple of women. They typically open around 11 am, but due to Ramadan it won't be open till 1 pm. The massage itself is pretty good and inexpensive but on the bed, 90 minutes for 150,000, and in the end, offer HJ for 300,000.

If you decide to visit Hotel Classic, their Spa opens at 11 am, Terminal lounge opens at 1 pm. Get a massage, relax for a bit in Sauna, then go straight to lounge to avail girls. The Spa starts at 375,000 for 90 minutes but very good and pretty therapists with shower.

So true. This is why so many people post bad experiences in Jakarta. If you go in expecting it to be like Thailand, it most certainly is not. Most of the girls will not flirt with you in the bar, make eye contact or otherwise engage directly. There are exceptions of course and I have been approached but never by the best looking girls. To enjoy Jakarta venues like Classic you have to embrace the Asian style of mongering. Otherwise go back to Bangkok and Pattaya with jaded pro tattooed fake boobed girls. In Jakarta there is no lady drinks, no BS, and no refusing customers. You choose from the line up provided by mama sans and girl goes with you. Its hard to judge service from the bar but I have not really had any bad experiences and have had some amazing ones.
