Hey guys I hope you all doing great!

I'll visit Jakarta for few days this month, so far I planned to go to classic and travel.

I read the last 20 pages and I was wondering if the train track place is really worth to visit?

Also for classic hotel I saw floor 2 and 5 , other floors not worth to visit?

And finally do I need to know some bahasa? For preferences and no baby things?

Thanks to all of you that posted on this forum, it's really helpful, I'll be sure to post my report at the end of my trip! .

The train tracks aren't worth a visit. Maybe out of curiosity is all.

Level 5 seems permanently shut now at Classic, just level 2 and the club (or whatever it is called) to the right at the main entrance seem to be open.

Ah, the good old days. Still remember going to "D's Place" with Menteng back in 2005, ended up bringing a sweet young Javanese girl back to my hotel (Mandarin Oriental). In the morning she pulled a long sleeve top out of her bag, put it on over her more sexy top, and told me she was going directly to her workplace (some shop in one of the malls), so my walk with her through the lobby (the "walk of shame") to put her in a taxi was not too bad.

I last saw Smoothy in March 2018 when he and I had a great time at one of the bars in Pang-Jay, I think it was the New Sari Ayu Club. We both chose girls from the fishbowl and relaxed with a drink before heading upstairs (separately). Still remember walking up the stairs behind my girl who was tottering on these enormous heels.

It's a shame to read that many of these places have faded away.

On the far left, the beautiful and enigmatic Prapti (pretty by name and pretty by nature). I was convinced she would marry one of the thousands of bules (including me) who lusted after her but apparently she just went back to her kampung and settled down with a local lad, what a waste. And of course on the right, sweet motherly Fitri, who you had a big crush on as I recall.

All gone now, Dee's Place has changed hands, it was a graveyard the last time I visited, no sexy dancers, no VIP room for nefarious pleasure.

According to this article, these organ traders are taking advantage of poor people, who are desperate and vulnerable. These Indonesians agreed to sell one of their kidneys for 135 million rupiah, because they had financial trouble and needed the money.

The organ traders only took kidneys from people who agreed to sell them. Representatives of the organ traders contacted these people in Indonesia. They were not tourists on holiday in Cambodia.

The article did not have any information about any risk to tourists visiting Cambodia.

Human trafficking in Indonesia is rather complicated. Some of these trafficked people have been lured, promised to be given good jobs in Thailand for the skills they have such as ITs, customer services, etc. They are transported from Indonesia using unconventional route to avoid detection. They were first transported to Thailand and then using land route to be transported further to either Cambodia or Myanmar.

Certainly the risk for tourists is small. But keep mind that this human organ trading is "A STATE SPONSORED" run by military juntas. It is not an ordinary criminal gang. The victim's kidneys are removed from a STATE OWNED hospital. Cambodia is a signatory of the World Health Assembly Resolution on Organ Trafficking and Transplant Tourism, which was adopted in 2008. The resolution prohibits the sale or purchase of human organs, as well as the advertising or solicitation of organ donors for commercial purposes. It also calls on countries to take measures to prevent and combat human organ trading. But who is the law in Cambodia, if there is any rather than Hun Sen. You might be interesting in finding out about Hun Sen family connection to Human organ trading in Cambodia.

Just hoping as a tourist you do not fall into the trap for a petty crime that will see you to get a jailed sentence, giving a reason for the evil people who are after huge profit to profit from you.

Does any members have recent expereince to share about seeking? I am noticing that ladies are charging more for short-term PPM these days. Do you have any refefences points.

I have used Seeking in Jakarta in the past and had great expereinces. Before, most were charging 2-3 M for a 1-2 hour short term visit at my hotel. Some were free.

Now, women are quoting 4-5 M. Inflation? Just to note, I am a younger looking in mid-30's.

I am targeting for the slim, attractive girls in late 20's. Not girls that is 19-22 years old.

Not the actress--models--IG on this site that can easily go for 8-12 M with shady politicians or trip to Singapore or Dubai.

Welcome your inputs. I am sure its cheaper on Tinder. But for some reasons I like seeking platform. Very direct to point.

I've returned and found Classic much the same. Same prices more or less, similar quality, similar service levels which can vary from amazing to forgettable. Level 5 is finished though I always preferred having a few beers at level 5 then making my way to level 2.

At Pang-Jay Starmoon has had the fishbowl renovated and now much better and more open. I went there and Grand MTR.

For maximum value, take the KRL to Sawah Besar only 3 k rupiah, combine visit to Classic with steak at Jonisteak, then catch KRL to Jayakarta station (3 k rupiah again) then walk to Pang-Jay. Cheap night out.

Went there at 2 am.

Only one level was open.

The selection was mind blowing, pick up 19 year old.

She was okay but I guess too tired. Very tight and very accommodating.

Paid 600 k and left. Wish would have come earlier to check out other floors.

There are still a few bars there, but compared to the heyday -- back when you and I were hanging out there two or three times a week -- it's not even a ghost of its old self.

I can't think when the last time was that I went there, certainly before the pandemic.

Hahahaha. This is the funniest post I have read on ISG in a long time. I, and many others on the forum have been travelling to Cambodia for several years to together. Some have been living there for well over a decade and we have never ever come across any BS of this sort. Dangers lurk in many corner of cities in SEA, and probably in several other countries around the world. And a lot of that danger can be avoided by folowing some basic principles. But to generalise the matter and rule out an entire country is just paranoia.
