I think the whole mall scene died off years ago. Atrium used to be pretty good, as was PI, but I get the feeling that apps and a growing economy killed that all off sometime in the mid 2010's. Someone here back in the day also posted about Arion Mall near the Velodrome in East Jakarta, but on the few occasions I have been over there, there was nothing remarkable going on. I would have thought that Lokasari area in Mangga Besar would be ground zero for street walking, but I have been out of the game for quite some time. Still, I am willing to bet that anyone with decent Indonesian and some charm could probably pull a shag out of a mall in the satellite cities, Bekasi, Depok, Tangerang or Bogor.

Maybe someone here will know? Train track locations, like TanahAbang, are too grimy to be really fun. The best places for freelancing girl pickups (better quality street prostitution) used to be Plaza Atrium, Kalijodo and to some extend the busstation at Blok M / Jl Melewai Raya. But those locations have either deteriorated or shutdown.

Media talk about Tangerang and there are some places in Bekasi and up North. Offshore Swell mentions the Priok bars, which sounds interesting. But practically, if you were to stay in Central or South Jakarta (like I do) venturing out there will turn into a daytrip.

Look for signs for Pijat or Rumah Kebugaran.

Any hairdresser salon with blacked out windows will struggle to find a set of scissors.

Hi guys, I'm a Jakarta newbie, have been searching on Google maps for massage spas but many of them are shut down.

Looking for a massage with happy ending. Can't order outcall because I'm with my gf (she's on her period).

Is my best bet to go to a hotel spa, since they're less likely to be shut down?

Do all hotel spas offer happy ending, or should I target 2-3 star hotels, or 4-5 star hotels?

I am located in the Central Park (Grogol) area, if that helps.

To contribute a bit of what I've found, the be'Fashiom hotel near Taman Anggrek has closed its spa due to Covid (they told me). Not sure about the rest of their activities, I think they have striptease and other stuff.

Also tried the Aston Kartika hotel which claims to have a spa, but could not find one when I went there.

Yes, exactly... one of the big treats of Kalijodo in the past, single mummies. Not hardened hookers, but just freelancing girls looking to make ends meet. They would ask a ridiculous low price, like 150 k. Tip them another 100 k, that was really good. But since its closure that's gone. Many of the girls went to gang Royal, but that's now gone too.

Funny, I was never a big fan of Kalijodo but I miss it now that its gone and wish I had visited more when it was still there. Cheap and a lot of variety.

I've been there twice last time in Jakarta. Area is close to the train station. I thought I would just scout around for a quick recon. But I think all action was all gone. Nothing to indicate any action in this area. Dead except for a few shops and people walking about. I went at about 5-6 pm as it was getting dark. Didn't feel real safe there as I don't know the place well so I left. Could be action starts later at night but I didn't hang around to find out. Or perhaps this area has action now that Kalijodo is gone. Don't know for sure, anyone with recent recon can fill in with a quick report.
Note, the last time I was in Jakarta was about 3.5yrs ago so things might be very different now.
