Here's a question for the long timers like Smoothy and Menteng etc, prob nearing 10 yrs ago I was out in west Jakarta not very far from be fashion and I visited a bar / club with a very Indonesian name. It was a stand alone club not in a complex like your pangjay bars but followed the same concept. I for the life of me can't remember the name. Can anyone remember or know what I'm talking about, it lay in a backstreet off a large major road.

One suggestion is when you go to some of these places where they do offer freelancers. By that definition, I assume they are working there on their own free will. Maybe veterans of this forum can correct me if I am wrong. Some of these places that I do know have these freelancers include BFashion, Emporium, 108. Other folks can probably recommend other places as well.

Another suggestion is for you to walk through lokasari at Mangga Besar at night. I think it is relatively safe but you still need to be aware of the surrounding. There are plenty of freeelancers there. Avoid pimps offering you girls from vans. Those girls are in the same bind as they are controlled by mafia as well. For upscale FL, visit CJ or BATS.

In Jakarta now and messaged few girls for the price. Most of them quoted ST-3 mil and LT-7 mil consistently. Posts that offered massage + ST, girls quoted around 1 mil to 1. 5 mil. Not too sure if I will even try to bargain with them. Relatively Twitter girls might be better option than this.

I do what locals do I follow the local economy and pay the local prices, personally if its written in English I would walk away as either you are dealing with scammer often who are dodgy western expats or you are dealing with heavily marked up products.

You guys all amuse me. We have this existential battle between the moralists and the blabbers with the N Jakarta clubs in the middle.

Some of us wring our hands in angst about the circumstances that lead these girls to end up in places like Kota Indah and Classic but we still get a stiffy when we go there and so end up doing the girl anyway.

Others just want to blab on about how great these places are and then wonder why in a year or two's time they don't seem to be so nice anymore. Those clubs and especially KI have a distinctly unsavoury side.

Why would we need a mamasan's number? We can just walk around and see the girls. If we see someone we like we figure out who her mamasan is and grab that mamasan to book her. Hopefully you realize that your mamasan will ONLY show you HER girls. You will be missing out on tons of good looking girls.

Why is that? That's the number one value for money brothel in Jakarta and the most discussed venue on this forum.

I read the reviews here and felt like oh I am going to step into a sex slaves brothel and it will be pretty bad as the ladies might be cursing the customers.
